This is the second Green Leaves location. The extensive menu features Thai cuisine and American fast food. Rock n' roll theme decor and flat screen TVs on the walls. Prices range from cheap to moderate. Weekday bargain lunch specials. Located in the same plaza as the Earth Bar health food store with parking provided. NOTE: not everything is vegan, so ask. Tasty food, Fast service - Edit
I had read about this place on happycow, and here's my Green Leaves - West Hollywood review.
Read moreI've been to their other location in Silverlake, LA, several times over the years. This one is conveniently located with parking provided in a shopping plaza at Santa Monica Blvd and Kings Road corner. The Earth Bar is in the same plaza, and you can get great smoothies or a fresh pressed juice there beforehand or afterwards.
The space is nice, but the music is loud because the theme here is kinda rock n roll with some electric guitars hanging on the walls. The menu is the same as the other location, very extensive and varied though too much for my eyes.
The food I had here was good, so much better than the Silverlake location. I had the pho junior soup, their signature rock n roll noodle, and my husband had the lentil burger.
Our waitress was friendly and quick on her feet.
A good place for inexpensive vegan and vegetarian food when in the West Hollywood area.

Not great food - Edit
i'm not a huge fan of this place. the cuisine is pretty boring, in my opinion, and is just like every other vegan thai restaurants in LA (of which there are many). the owners used to knowingly serve non-vegan cheese marked as vegan at their other location...so i'd rather support another thai restaurant rather than green leaves. for instance, vegan glory!

Great Food and Great Price - Edit
The food here is EXCELLENT and at a great price for the neighborhood. Every plate here is worth trying.
Read moreI think we should show support for a place who chooses to cater and limit themselves to our small growing veg community and not be so suspicious and eager to jump on the hate wagon. "Casa de Tree" in Culver just shut as well as well as "That's Amore" vegan pizza in Cerritos. If somebody asks you to lunch/dinner and you have a choice, choose a veg eatery since they choose you.

Great food - Edit
I have NEVER had a bad meal here. The service is great in-house, and the delivery service is fast and friendly.
Read moreThere has been a big flap alleging that some of their foods are not vegan. It appears that they were bamboozled by their food sources, and they have offered their food to be tested by any legitimate testing service.
