Interesting and delicious - Edit
I got the choc chip sweet potato pancakes. I wasn’t sure how this combo would work but it’s delicious! And super filling. Also got a Bloody Mary and while it wasn’t what I normally expect one to look like, it was really good. Fun little spot with lots of vegan options

Mixed review - Edit
I got the beet burger and my partner got the bbq seitan. The beet burger fell apart immediately and I didn’t love the taste, but the bbq seitan was really good! Loved the salsa that came as a side but the sweet potato “fries” were just too big and kind of soggy.

A gem - Edit
My husband and I took a red eye into Boston and were looking for something fresh and delicious on our way to CT. I am so happy we found this place. We would definitely go again. We had the tofu omelette and bbq seitan wrap. Both delicious.

All The food was tasty and creative. We tried the vegan butternut kale lasagna, black bean and sweet potato enchiladas, and the gobi manchurian is a must try!

Pretty good - Edit
The gobi manchurian is good. They did quote me 30 minutes for my takeout order and I ended up waiting over an hour for my food. I know they’re busy but it was a little strange. The cinnamon fig waffle had about a pound of sliced figs on top (conservative estimate) which was surprising and overpowered the waffle. I had a huge mound of figs left when I was done. Great if you love figs. As other reviews say, it’s pretty expensive. I would not recommend the french toast. Maybe because I ordered it gluten free, I don’t know, but it was a couple of very soggy slices of bread (flavorless) just loaded so high with a thick gooey syrup mixture with fruit in it - it was hard to see the bread in places- I really didn’t care for it.

Worth a Visit (or 10) - Edit
Since going vegan I have been here 2 times, and it is so good. I want to preface this with I am a salad hating vegan, but they made me like a salad. I have gotten their breakfast quesadilla and the protein packed salad. Both tasted amazing and FRESH! Portion sizes are awesome too! Smoothies are also great - I have tried the black forest and the mango one. Mango was definitely my favorite!

First visit - Wish I lived closer! - Edit
I was in Framingham a couple of weeks ago and checked in with Happy Cow for recommendations. I tried the vegan reuben with sweet potato fries. I LOVED IT! The portion was large. I don't eat a lot of fried foods, but the fries were cut thickly and cooked just right. I live over an hour away, but would definitely welcome an excuse to go back.

Yummy - Edit
Stopped by on my way home after a semi local hike. The menu has many options, all which can be made vegan. We went for the Gobi manchurian and the eggplant Parmesan sandwich (veganized). Both were extremely generous portions that was far too much for us two to finish. The food was delicious as well. Satiating and not too heavy. The staff was so nice and they even brought my order to the car without asking. There are many other things I would like to try as well. I would say that my one caveat of the excellence of this place is the up charge for vegan cheese which is annoying but not the end of the world.

A Framingham Gem! - Edit
I’m so happy I found this place! I always crave French toast and pancakes, and now when I visit my in-laws I have a place to get some! Big vegan menu and the food is excellent! The dessert menu was incredible I couldn’t decide what to get. I settled on the vegan chocolate mousse pie and OMG. Go get this dessert! So delicious and great. I wish I had a place like this where I live in New Jersey. Can’t wait to go back.

Good Food. But expensive for simple ingredients. - Edit
The restaurant is a great concept and has lots of seating area, but the dinner menu didn’t really have lots that I was tempted by. Honestly the food tasted good, but the place definitely lacks a sense of “going out to eat.” I was originally taken in by all the pictures of wraps and sandwiches and quickly realized that’s only for lunch. Also the pancakes at brunch look amazing. I want to go back to try those. However I don’t think I’ll ever return for dinner. Everything is served in to-go containers so I felt rushed out the door and pretty wasteful even though they have a recycle bin. I also felt nickeled and dimed. Like we asked for water and they charged us for water bottles without even asking when just a cup would have been fine. Also asked what side we wanted with the burrito and then charged us for it, even though it had seemed like it was included the way they asked. Burrito was just sort of a mess of mush, although a huge portion! Salad was great but very simple ingredients thrown together for huge price tag. I hate the upcharge on health. We also tried a pesto pizza and their sweet potato fries. I was pleased with all of that. I got pretty angry at the dessert though. They were just hacked off a frozen tray and kinda plopped down on the counter. Very icy consistency. The ice cream scoop was maybe 2 teaspoons put in a sealed ramekin dish. I’d recommend trying the place out, but maybe just as takeout, since it’s already packaged that way and you can enjoy free water and ambiance at home!

Too many choices for one trip! - Edit
This is an excellent vegetarian spot. Quiet and unassuming, but with an extensive smoothie and entree menu. They have vegan cheese options so you don't have to rely on one or two choices from the menu.
Read moreThe were several things I wanted, so I will definitely be back. The potato leek pizza is delicious, elevated, crispy thin crust and it was even good cold the next day. The sweet potato quesadilla is yummy too, fresh salsa.
Bonus points for compostable utensils and straws. Great recycling, even good waste is separated.
All around great vegetarian option in Framingham.
Pros: Vegan options, Lots of choices, Cuisine, not just salads
Cons: Pricey, but worth it. Great quality.

Won't go back - Edit
I don't like to write this review since Greenleaf is the only vegan restaurant in town but everytime I go there it just gets worse. We have always waited at least 30 minutes for our food but yesterday we waited 45 minutes to get our food for brunch! My husband works in a restaurant so we know this is unacceptable at a well run establishment. Not to mention you can tell the owner is trying to cut costs at every turn. Although the menu options have stayed the same price, there is now no waiter service (you order at a counter then pick up your own food, then throw away your trash) and all utensils, plates, and cups are now non-reusable to-go containers. We will not be back.

Worth a Stop - Edit
Pit stop on the way home from the Natick Mall. Green Leaf is a solid vegetarian/vegan spot with plenty of options.
Read moreWe had the brunch menu which has a lot of breakfast plates, spanning across the globe. The leek and red pepper hash was quite good and comes loaded with red bliss potatoes, leeks, green and red peppers, all topped with a sunmy side up egg and blanket of cheese. However, the star dish was the Gobi mancherian. Those familiar with pan-Asian/Indian food will know it is a spicy/sweet rub and sauce atop chickpea fried cauliflower, coming with pepper and onions. The texture and flavor was dynamite and a must-try dish.
As for the peripherals, the atmosphere and sercice are nothing to brag about, but nothing erroneous. Very clean bathrooms.
All in all, I look forward to the dinner menu and exploring more traditional dishes next time. Definitely worth the stop!

Every dish is lovingly prepared and is scrumptious. The employees are so very enthusiastic and kind. If you are vegan or vegetarian, you must try this restaurant.....and bring your non-veggie family and friends. We did and everyone absolutely loved the food. We went three times in one week! YUM!

fantastic spot, but expect long wait - Edit
5/19: Went today at about 11:50, and it was fantastic. Just beat the lunch rush. By the end of our meal, the restaurant was a bit chaotic. So it is a wonderful place to go, but try to avoid prime time. It seems like they have not yet adjusted to serving the increased number of people that they can accommodate in this new location.
Read more5/26: I have been several times and loved it. Just tried to go for the third time, the restaurant was two-thirds full, and the host asked us to sit and wait for a 2-top table to free-up even though there were at least 4 4-tops available. While I normally would not mind waiting, I explained we would need to leave in an hour, so I asked for one of the others. He replied that even if they seated us at that moment, they would not be able to serve hot food in an hour due to the kitchen being busy and that they could accommodate that time frame only if we ordered something cold, like salad. So we left. Will give them another try another time, but that was very disappointing. Again, the restaurant was only about 2/3 full – so lots of customers, but certainly not at capacity.

Love the new location! - Edit
The new building is much nicer, and very conveniently located in Saxonville. I have never been disappointed with a meal at Green Leaf, but my favorite is the Fantastic French Toast on the weekend brunch menu. I’ve been with my omni family and friends and they’ve all been blown away by the food, especially the desserts. Although I am vegan, none of my friends are and I love having a place I can take others and have plenty of options for everyone.

Great Atmosphere Better Food - Edit
My mom and I got lunch at the new Green Leaf location in Framingham today and it was absolutely incredible. All of the food was flavorful and thoughtfully put together. I ordered the mango berry smoothie to start which was fresh sweet and refreshing. We then shared the fresh herb falafel which was made with chickpeas, red onion, jalapeños, parsley, cilantro, cardamom, and cumin served with a spicy and creamy tahini sauce. They herb falafels were some of the best I've ever had they were fried so not a health food but were wholesome and delicious. I then had the BBQ Tempeh sandwhich with carmalizdd onions lettuce tomato Tempeh and barbecue sauce on grilled bread. The sandwhich was amazing too and my mom got the chickpea wrap which is also an excellent choice. You really can't go wrong here every time we've eaten here we have enjoyed everything.
