By far the best vegan restaurant we found on our 10 day visit to South Crete. The food was exceptional and beautifully presented, all at very reasonable prices. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Vegan oasis in Pitsidia - Edit
The green Kukunari serves absolutely delicious all vegan food, everything is healthy, creative and prepared with so much love! We are breakfast and dinner there and both were fantastic! Plus, the meal sizes are really big. If in the South of Crete, do not miss to eat there 💚

The best food in Crete by a mile! - Edit
Culinary excellence like no other, so good we came back twice on the same day! Gutted that we discovered this place on the last day of our holiday. Zisu the chef serves you visual works of art that taste even better than they look. We will be back!

Such a lovely place! Hidden in a side street where you wouldn’t expect a restaurant. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The lady owner and cook was working on the new menu. Would love to come back for that.

We took the tartare as a starter, polenta and lentilballs as main dish. The taste was excellent, the portions were perfect and the plating was beautiful. Dont forget to order the homemade bread !

The menu is very original, a lot of options. We ordered the raw zucchini lasagna and lentil balls with rice & curry, which both were very tasteful. The restaurant also looks so beautiful, waitress was very sweet and helpfull. Don’t forget to check the small shop inside😄

Best Vegan restaurant I tried so far - Edit
I tried this restaurant in my last vacation, and it was the best I tried so far. Very nice and healthy plates, with very original recipies. They used few meat substitutes and a lot of fantasy and passion for the creation of their menu. I really appreciated the low use of oil, and that they do all by themselves, like bread and breadstick. Cheesecake and chocolate energyball were outstanding!

We came here twice during our Crete trip. The restaurant has a lovely chilled atmosphere in the outdoor courtyard and the food is all delicous. We'd suggest you order multiple starter dishes to share instead of a main dish.

After 3 years not being able to visit crete we are happy that we could enjoy this delliciouse food again. As mentioned before this is not a place for fast and cheap food but the quality of the food is worth the price. We both had a starter an a main dish wich is enough to be satisfied.

We were to stingy buying bread for 4,5€ and a water for 3,80€. In most of the Greek restaurants you get it for free. And the appetizer and desserts were so expensive …
The atmosphere is nice and the stuff was friendly. The small shop is really good for shopping some ecofriendly stuff. But all in all we were disappointed about the price-performance Ratio. It seem to be a high priced restaurant for people how don’t know, that you will get in nearly every Greek restaurant some vegan dishes (like fava, baked vegetables, giant beans or aubergine dip)

Unfortunately, we arrived late to this restaurant, so were a bit rushed. This is in an off-the-beaten track location frequented by Greeks and locals. It felt like dining in someone's backyard, but a nice, big backyard that was fully outfitted to be a restaurant. The food was very natural, Greek and thoughtful. Portions are large. The atmosphere is bit dark, and we had the perception that it was a bit buggy. But it's not my intent to criticize this great restaurant that we only wish we had more time to savor.
