1st visit to this little gem and came away feeling absolutely thrilled. Food was excellent and Mr & Mrs owners were so welcoming! I can't believe that I have an excellent vegan eating place almost on my doorstep.
Read moreI can't fault anything from the menu - well balanced and nutritious and it is clear that 'Mrs' who does the cooking is a vegan herself and has really thought about her menu. FANTASTIC!
Also bought some cheese that they sell, (happy Mouse) WOW by far the best vegan cheese Ive ever had.

My partner and I visited here after seeing the Happy Cow recommendations. We visited for brunch on our way home from a holiday locally. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who was very friendly and accommodating. There were lots of options on the menu and all plant based. We had a pasta dish and meatless sub. The food was delicious! The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating in the courtyard and the atmosphere is lovely. We are just disappointed that we don't live closer as the cafe also holds different events and themed nights which we would love to go to!

I had brunch at Green Island Bistro today. I chose the rainbow scrambled, which is scrambled tofu with mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes and facon on a bagel. It was delicious. Staff are super friendly and smiley. Absolutely great place. Very happy customer 🙂

Breakfasts are so nice and a really big choice . The breakfast wraps are our fave and the kids love the waffles.
Lunchtime menu is amazing and the homemade soups are ‘soup’er lovely.
We have also had Friday night Tapas and several Sunday lunches - everything has been spot on and delish.
If you haven’t been , what are you waiting for ? Get yourself to the Bistro and don’t forget to have cake and donuts to take home too 💚

Went for lunch and shared a few plates between the two of us visiting. They proactively divided the meals into 2 plates each for us. Very friendly and kind service and delicious food! Indoor and outdoor seating areas. I don’t believe each menu is served all day (if you go at lunch you’ll just have the option of the lunch menu).

A few friends have been here recently so we wanted to visit.

Food was nice, we had tacos and curry, and sundaes (could do with some brownie/cookie pieces in IMO)
Service was a little on the slow side, a good wait before getting menus, tissues for the chairs (as it’d been raining) but once we’d ordered, drinks and food arrived quickly.
Staff were very friendly, perhaps just low on staff on this day

Came in here for breakfast on the way back from a trip and was welcomed by the friendliest people! So many options it was hard to choose! I’m so upset that this is nowhere near where I live or I would be in here every day!

Fabulous in every aspect!! - Edit
Food was great, thought was taken into every aspect, the outside seating area is gorgeously green with pretty flowers! the staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond for all that were dining, we turned up a bit late for breakfast but they were happy to still serve us one with a great attitude towards making us enjoy our first experience! We didn’t get to thank you on our exit but we enjoyed it very much and will be back!

Decided to visit after reading about it on Happy Cow. Owners were friendly, music on, choice of outdoor or indoor dining. Great cocktails, good food and well priced. Definitely worth a visit.

Cozy location, tucked away. Sara was really friendly and happy to tweak dishes to suit our tastes. The vegan 'fish' curry was beautifully spiced, with optional fresh green chillies to pep it up!
