Amazing Vegan Thai food - Edit
In town for the Wine Glass Marathon, and found this spot on Happy Cow. Amazing food, we got the Papaya salad, veg egg rolls, pad thai, and drunken noodles. All were excellent, the server was attentive and friendly. There were only a few couples in here though, if you're in the area, they deserve your business! Loved it.

Great meal, great service! - Edit
Great all vegan restaurant, excellent food! They go heavy on the heat level of spiciness, but the server explained this and made it clear that mild is more like medium at other restaurants. I got mild, and it was pretty spicy, but still within the heat level I like. Skipping the heat altogether was also an option. Restaurant was clean, and meals were plated nicely with good sized servings. Server was attentive.

Fantastic noodles for spice lovers - Edit
We were thrilled to find Green Elephant on Happy Cow during our Finger Lakes weekend getaway. Super friendly service and fantastic food with decorative plating--I had a carrot in the shape of a flower on my plate😄I will say they aren't kidding about the spice levels. We both got medium and it was powerful! Pairs well with a great iced tea!

amazing all-vegan Thai spot - Edit
Huge menu with so so many different options. Great atmosphere and service and is located in such a cute part of downtown Watkins Glen. We had the pad thai, thai golden bags, and pad see ew. The golden bags were our favorite but everything was great.

amazing restaurant, fantastic food 😋 - Edit
came here two days in a row because the food was SO GOOD. I’m not too good with spicy food so Mild on the scale was perfect for me (got the Massaman curry and pad thai) and my partner who loves spice got Hot and thought that was great as well. The curries are delicious and all the apps that we tried were also great - thai money bag, curry puffs, tofu satay. Tom Kha soup was also great. We also tried the desserts, and especially loved the Taro in Coconut Cream, although the Fried Bananas were also delicious!

All vegan Thai restaurant - Edit
Love that this place had so many options for vegans! Usually we go to a Thai place and have to ask about eggs and fish sauce. It’s nice not having to worry.

Great food, bad service - Edit
My husband and I drove an hour and a half for our anniversary dinner and the food was excellent. The service? Not so much. The pad Thai with mock duck was our favorite, the golden bags were also super good. Our waitress never asked if we wanted drinks other than water, we asked. Never asked if we wanted appetizers. The gentleman that ran food seemed to be working very hard, but he brought my husband’s entree out five minutes before mine. No one ever checked in with us. Had to ask for the check. Again, the food was great, and we’d come back again, but wouldn’t make the trip just for it again. As someone in the customer service industry for many years, I get being busy or overwhelmed or whatever, it just wasn’t the best experience.

6⭐️: may be my favorite Thai restaurant - Edit
Thai is my favorite cuisine, and pad see ew is my favorite dish. Has been for longer than I’ve been vegan. I had the best pad see ew of my life for lunch here on Friday, then came back for dinner on Saturday and had it again. Everything I had was perfect, but the pad see ew straight up knocked my socks off. If this place was near me, I’d eat here every week. Interior is nice too, staff is very friendly, service is quick. But I mainly cannot say enough good things about the food!
Read moreUpdate two years later (2025): yep, still the best pad see ew around, glad to revisit. Also great service for our group, nice people who work there. We recently went to Thailand and had the best food ever the whole time…and if I had had this pad see ew there I would’ve still thought it was excellent

An oasis of vegan YUM! All the food tasted so good I had the Thai Golden Bags and the Kara Tiem with tofu. Amazing! We also ordered Vegetable tempura, fried dumplings and spring rolls. All delicious. Pad Thai with tofu and vegetable and tofu were what my fellow diners orders and it was ALL delicious. Highly recommend!

We had curry puffs and spring rolls for appetizers. For dinner I had the pineapple fried rice and my husband had Tom kha soup. Everything was delicious and the wait staff was so friendly and apologized for the wait due to a high volume of takeouts even though I didn't think the wait time was bad.
