The best carrot cake in Toronto - Edit
My family and I have been going to Green Earth for years for birthdays and gatherings. Their menu is huge but I mean HUGE. I have had some selections that were okay, and others that were amazing. Once you find your fav items, they'll always be there for you.
Read moreHowever. They make their own carrot cake, and it is the single best carrot cake in Toronto. I know that's a bold statement, but we order a giant sheet of it fresh every year for my brother's birthday, and it's incredible. Chef's kiss. Almost gave 5 stars just for the cake 😆 I'm ultimately giving 4 because I don't think all the items on their menu are necessary or as good as others.
All in all, this is a great spot and go try their cake cake!! 😆😁
Pros: Their Carrot Cake!!, Huge selection, Consistent quality

Amazing flavors! - Edit
We got the pho and drumsticks. The pho was simply delectable and such a large portion. The drumsticks were great as well with a crunchy texture on the outside and a moist, meat-like texture on the inside. Service was so friendly as well. This place is a gem!

Read moreThe food is a 6.5/10. Nothing special but tasty and reliable and lots of variety😄
Faves are the orange imagination and the gourmet burrito. The kimchi rice, pho and pad thai are also decent. Also, their fries are amazing.

Went for a meal and ordered the poutine, and two rice dishes. Everyone there was super nice, and it was tough choosing what to order from so many appealing options on the menu.

Large menu, filling dishes - Edit
The all-vegan menu features a mix of East Asian and North America dishes. I had the California Chickun sandwich which came with perfectly-made fries. The sandwich was filling and healthy but could have used a bit of zing/flavour. The quinoa sushi was a great appetizer. Friendly service. One four-person table outside, more inside.

One of my favourite vegan restaurants in Toronto! - Edit
I can't say enough good things about Green Earth. It is one of my favourite places to go. Food portions are decent, price is good, very friendly staff. Our favourite is Orange Imagination and Chick'n Parm. But you really cannot go wrong with any of the options. Desserts are to die for. Juices are delicious.

Fantastic - Edit
What a fantastic place. The selection is vast and everything is delicious. Lots of completely whole food plant based items and loads of pseudo meat choices for people who like that sort of thing. It’s an entirely vegan menu that literally has something for everyone.

I wish I lived nearby! - Edit
Whilst I only got to try a few things from the menu, what I had was absolutely delicious! I had the crispy wontons and a slice of the almond chocolate cake, and both were SO delicious! I’m pretty sure if I gave either to a non-vegan they wouldn’t even know the difference either - would 100% recommend checking this place out as they are entirely vegan and have a great selection to choose from. I really wish I lived locally as I would love to work my way through the menu 🤤 I found the food to be very reasonably priced too😄

Amazing food - Edit
I had a great time here the other day. They have a delicious looking menu with many items to choose from, from curries to burgers. I had the chow mein which brought back such great memories from my time living in Nepal. I cant wait to come back and try more menu items!! The staff is also very friendly and attentive and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the huge portion sizes.

Good fast tasty reasonably priced lunch - Edit
I happened to be in the area for something else when I noticed a sign outside the restaurant with the word vegan. The menu was extensive though many items are things I don't eat like TVP, fake meats, fries, soft drinks. I chose one of the items on the daily menu. It was a dish with veggies, tofu & brown rice with a coconut milk sauce. It was very tasty. The daily special comes with a soft drink which I declined, but as soon as you arrive they give you a glass of filtered water. If I'm ever in the area I will eat there again & try something different. Service was quick & friendly.

I really wanted to like this place... - Edit
I wish I could give 2.5 stars as 2 feels a bit low, but maybe it's better to balance the average this way. I've been here here three times now, and there was something to be desired at each meal; things simple to change which would make it worthy of the score it already has...
Read moreTo begin, some general issues: first, aside from the starters, almost every dish contains some form of soy (I think there are about five which don't), none of which are even tempeh. No seitan, no bean, no...nothing! Not great if you can't or don't want to eat it. Second, for the items which come with choice of fries or salad, they will refuse to do half/half. Which is a bummer because the salad is just a bunch of basic greens which seem pulled from a spring mix package dashed with a tiny amount of vinaigrette, and the fries like they were heated up from a frozen bag. Lastly, and this could not be a constant, but it was absolutely freezing inside the last time I went. Like, I had to keep my heavy jacket on until midway through eating.
On my first visit I had the pho, which was passable; getting this vegan isn't the easiest thing. What irked me was the stark lack of veggies and herbs, normally given in plenty with this dish. It was mainly tofu-meat broth, with some noodles. Second time I had the pulled jackfruit burger, which I'd have to some up with one word: bland. The pulled jackfruit was neither fruity nor barbecue-y, it was just a palatable mash flavoured by the other contents. The third time I had the burrito, which, while hefty, was miserably unbalanced. The filling was mostly TVP followed by rice, after which there were some oversized lettuce pieces, unnamed white sauce, a tiny bit of tomato and even less guac. It was also served cut in half, meaning it had plenty of time to get cold as I ate it.

A Bit of Everything - Edit
They have a very extensive menu here of various types of cuisine. I could eat here every day of the week and not get bored. The restaurant is small and quiet and they do a lot of delivery/takeaway. Food is fresh and tasty. Have been here many times and never been disappointed. The thai banana rolls with ice cream are to die for.
