Yummy chai latte

I got a small chai latte which came to 6 leva, they have coconut, oat and almond milk. Atmosphere is nice, staff was friendly and spoke good English. I’ve nothing to complain about, would visit again.

Vegan soups and sandwiches

I came here as my first stop for food in Sofia for breakfast. They have labelled vegan soups, sandwiches and hummus/guacamole. They make juices. They can make coffee with almond or coconut milk. I found the service helpful. I sat here for a few hours and used their wifi. I had a coconut latte and a nice avo/ sun dried tomato and I think olive tapenade or pesto sandwich. Nothing too special but I enjoyed my time there.

Pros: Yummy sandwiches

few but good options

falafel wraps, soups, hummus, dips and salads for vegans, they also serve plant based milk for coffee.

Pros: nice vegan options, plant based milk

Not many options

They don't have many vegan options, unfortunately. But I tried the apple strudel and it was nice.

A big no no for vegans

Gave us old cardboard biscuits as the only vegan option, which we could not eat and gave back and fought for money back. Also their coffee is not good. Definitely not for vegans or coffee lovers!

Cons: Nothing vegan that is edible, Hot inside , Coffee poor

not suitable for vegans

They have lots of sandwiches, a few vegetarian but not a single one vegan, alternatively they offer salats, that can be vegan. Sadly they did not even have soy milk for a coffee, so i have to say - the place is alright, but not really more vegan- or vegetarian-friendly than others.

Pros: opening hours

Cons: not vegan friendly

Decent venue

Since Green Deli Cafe is located in the very centre of Sofia and has pretty decent opening times, I was there three times to eat.
As a soup lover I liked the range of fresh soups (five or six), which can be eaten on the spot or as take-away. At least some are always vegetarian and/or vegan; sometimes they ask you if you want to have some cheese or bacon in it which is available separately. Note that soups are only on display on weekdays not on weekends.
Apart from some salads and cakes (among them freshly baked muffins) there is a big fridge with sandwiches, more salads and desserts. Vegan options are clearly labeled as vegan. For coffees there is soy milk available.
Despite having tables on ground floor and upstairs as well it can easily become crowded, even if many costumers only buy things for take-away.
If you are hungry or have to bridge some time Green Deli Cafe is a decent choice.

Pros: fresh soups!, notable range of veg. stuff, central with good opening hours

Cons: crowded, still lots of non-veg. stuff
