Fantastic staff and great food - Edit

We visited the Café in the Green Britain Centre in August 2017. My wife and I shared a sausage roll with chips/salad, and a vegetarian lasagne. Each dish were very well cooked, with delicious flavours and exquisite textures. The desserts were equally beautiful to eat: date flapjack (heavenly) and lemon and courgette cake (OMG!). The coffee (brewed with 'grey seal' beans) was also very enjoyable.

When you travel to/past Swaffham or if you reside in or around the town, be sure to stop by the Café; stunning vegan food a carnivore would even love ;) .

Pros: Great selection of dishes, Friendly staff, Amazing product selection in the mini-shop

Deliciously amazing! - Edit

All vegan cafe. Fresh organic food. Fantastic value. Great selection of drinks and local products. We had asparagus tart, salad and freshly cooked potato wedges followed by lemon cheesecake. Everything was fantastic. My goodness. The best cheesecake we've ever had. Yummy! Lots of vegan cakes to take away. We've got a Victoria sponge, chocolate brownie and a veggie sausage roll to try. Strong tasty fair trade coffee with a fab soya froth too.

Wish we lived closer. Wonderful green charity, incredible place, please please go. Friendly staff. Cutting edge green energy centre. Go up the wind turbine! We felt so at home and 'normal' there. Lovely little gift shop with vegan books, products Etc.

Thanks for being awesome guys and gals. You are so good! Yay!

Stars and sparkles X

Pros: organic, large vegan cake selection, 100% eco

Friendly staff and excellent menu. - Edit

Lots of vegan and vegetarian food to try. I had the pea falafel salad and they prepared my son a childs portion of lentil lasagne. Lovely selection of soft drinks, vegan beers and wines. Also on the menu were a pick and mix salad bowl, sweet potato curry with cashew and canellini burger. We didn't try any sweets so can't comment but there was a big jar of chocolate and nut energy bites on the counter. Comprehensive selection of hot drinks and given the assortment of plant-based milks on display I imagine all can be veganised. Finally, the focus is on local and there is local bread and coffee to buy as well as a selection of vegan packaged cheese and sausages etc. Very impressed and will be returning soon.

Pros: Great menu , Reasonable prices , Child friendly

Cons: None

Excellent! - Edit

My mother and I enjoyed eating at the Green Britain Centre Vegetarian Cafe! The cafe caters for both vegetarians and vegans and the chef was able to give me clear information about which snacks would be suitable for me as I also have multiple food allergies.

I chose a jacket potato filled with hummus (which was served with a delicious salad) and my mother had a vegetarian dish.

The food was excellent and very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this cafe.

Pros: Vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options, Delicious food, Good value

Great fun - Edit

It's totally cool to go up inside the wind turbine and see how they work. There's also lots of info on other sustainability initiatives and renewable energy. The cafe looked great and had friendly workers, but we didn't get a chance to try the food. It looked tasty and they said they would be happy to accommodate vegans.

Pros: Go inside a wind turbine!, Learn about sustainable energy.
