Tasty food but clearly overpriced - Edit
I live in Marseille and it's the first time I'm disappointed in a vegetarian restaurant. It's really overpriced for homemade but simple food.

Ok - Edit
Nice cake, no decaf, lots of people using the place as a office. Most tables taken up withLaptops and phone calls. This was the branch near prefecture. Don’t know about others.

Great tea break - Edit
Very nice tea place with a couple vegan and vegetarian meal selections which change daily. They usually have vegan desserts but they are sold out quickly and we didn’t get to enjoy them.

Perfect little place! - Edit
We came here because it had some nice reviews on Happy Cow and this place did not disappoint!! The staff spoke English and was very friendly! They explained how everything works (self serve) and which items are vegan. We picked the mini quinoa salad, the veggie burger and the special of the day (vegetables with basmati rice and a spicy sauce). The special was delicious and the burger was amazing!!! The quinoa salad was ok, but probably wouldn’t go back for just that. I also love that they try to keep plastic to a minimum by not using plastic utensils or containers. Definitely a must when in Marseille!!

Awesomely delicious - Edit
Not only the food is affordable, tasty and fresh, but the staff is among the most adorable you will find in the city. I would go there everyday for lunch if I was working in the area.

Nice cafe - Edit
Lots of clearly labeled vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options ready to take away or eat there. A bit small and seems to be very popular, so sitting inside can be tough.

Delicious, cheap and eco-friendly! - Edit
I go there often to study and eat delicious vegan, organic and eco-friendly foods! It includes a great variety of vegan sandwitches, burgers, salads, cookies, cakes, soup... most of which are less than 5 euros !
Read moreMeals are changing often with a meal of the day. Staff is friendly. The room is beautiful in the old (renaissance?) style with a wooden decorated floor... and practical with plugs to charge your electronics on the walls.
Cherry on top, all cutlery and recipients are in carton/wood, sugar is organic and fairtrade, glass is recycled... what else do you want?
Pros: Cheap, Delicious, Eco-friendly, organic and fairtrade
Cons: I couldn't find any

Good vegan options - Edit
This is a cozy cafe with a living room feel in the back room, and a lot of terrace seating out front on La Canebiere. I came here twice, the first time for a soy lattee. The second to get takeaway for a hike. There was a variety vegan sandwiches and salads. I had the bulgur and curried tofu salad with lots of crunchy veg in it. They were also serving an interesting soup of the day: courgette-mint soup (vegan) so I stayed to try it on the terrace. Both were tasty.

Clear vegan labelling. Falafels, burgers, salads, coffees, beers, even vegan cakes and soya yoghurts. Very friendly staff. Outside seating.

Good Cafe - Edit
They have a good selection for vegetarians and enough vegan options.
Read moreWe had nice houmous sandwiches, salads, burgers in buns, chocolate cake, prune cake and good coffee, all vegan.
Its not that cheap but is good quality, and everything in central marseille is not cheap. There weren't many other vegan places to choose from.
We went there 3 or 4 times during our stay and it was good every time. There is another branch as well we visited in Marseille and it was also good.
Pros: tasty food, nice staff

Enjoyable - Edit
In my own veggie cooking, I have encountered a few issues that are yet to be solved. Amongst these are getting the texture of lentils right, making quinoa tasteful and also the texture issue of patties/burgers/balls.
Read moreWhen eating lunch at Green bear, I found that they succeeded in two out of three. I had a menu of tofu balls and lentil-quinoa, with a side of green salad, a drink and a cookie as dessert (about 12,90 euro). The tofu balls were a little too soft but yes! Both the lentils and the quinoa were really tasty! Add to this that the staff were nice and the cookie was the biggest vegan cookie I have found in a café and you will have me coming back...also, I was full for hours after which basically never happens when eating out.

Pros: nice staff, tasty, good value
Cons: only take-away containers, cookie could have stayed longer in oven, wish for more dessert options for vegans
