Got lunch here, had the Michigan burger and the Ontario burger. The patty itself was incredible, especially since it was house-made. The tatertots were very good as well! There's not a lot of seating if you come with a large group (like many places in Tokyo) but it wasn't super busy when we went for lunch.

This was my first meal in Japan, it filled me up really well. The host was very friendly, I felt at peace. The burger was so good I ordered another one for takeout to eat later at my hotel. Definitely worth visiting again!

Great Lakes was a little hard to find because it was down an alley the proprietors were friendly and spoke English very well. The burgers are customizable and the restaurant states on their menu that life is too short to eat something you don’t like.

The staff member was really nice!! Simple menu with three burgers to choose from, and different set options to include sides of drinks. I went for the Michigan burger - it was nice but didn't taste like I was expecting from a burger with pickles and caramelised onions. I had a side of tater tots which were tasty and well salted. I also had the rosemary lemonade which was nice but had so much ice there was barely any drink. My partner had the Ontario burger - the raw onion was very strong! He had a side of fries which were good and a vanilla milkshake (nice but had expected larger). Picked up a veggie/vegan guide to Tokyo there that I hadn't seen before!

What a find on our last night in Tokyo! My husband (who loves his meat), daughter (vegan) and and I (predominantly veg) all agreed that they were the tastiest burgers we had tasted. The accompanying milkshakes were out of this world too. A tiny place tucked away up some stairs on the outskirts of Shinjuku, with lovely, friendly staff. Please open lots more branches!

As I am still coping with Ripples by Ain Soph being closed now (it was the best cheesy vegan burger I ever had), but now found this place. And it's amazing. They make their own fermented cheese sauce as well as patties/buns and everything tastes great. Price is not cheap but okay (burger ~1100¥, set with side and drink at ~1700¥). I recommend getting the potato chips as a side!

The cook makes nearly everything from scratch. The buns, the tomato salsa.... The vegan meat is really good and with all the fresh ingredients... Double patty recommended. If you like burgers, you should definitely check this place out. I'm not a burger fan and I loved it. Lovely cook as well.
