Disappointed

The cashier told us that all of the breads either have honey or egg wash which means that none of the sandwiches can be made vegan. If you are ok with honey or are vegetarian this may be a better option.

Delicious

Went to this place for my lunch break at work to try out one of the “grain bowls” — they are more like salads with grains in them and warm toppings, but that doesn’t bother me! I had the “Sesame Portobello” which has delicious roasted and marinated mushrooms on top with peanuts cashews on a bed of lettuce and cabbage with wheat berries and quinoa. Toss it with their miso vinaigrette! This option was completely vegan on its own, but there were many other meal choices that could have been easily made vegan with the removal of a single ingredient.

Best Great Harvest Location I've Tried!

I love the Great Harvest chain and have visited many of them in my travels. Each location is unique because they are franchised and owned by local people. I have yet to find a location with so many already vegan options! I normally find that there is only one vegetarian option and it must be modified to exclude cheese and mayo and they never let you sub something else instead of the animal products! This location is different, 5 choices that are vegan, and a few more that could easily be modified. It was hard to pick, had to come back a second time! Tried the 3 Seed Hummus and veggie sandwich, the portobello bahn mi sandwich and the salad version and the sweet potato BBQ sandwich. All options were really good. There are also lots of freshly baked bread loaves to choose from, a nice selection of local tea and coffee drinks, like soy latte. Highly recommend if you love bread! The bread is amazing! Both days I went the soup was not vegan, but I can't wait to go back on a day that it is, because you can get the soup in a bread bowl!!

Pros: Many vegan options, Bread is addictive

Cons: Bread is addictive!, Not always a vegan soup

Some good vegan options

I have eaten at Great Harvest on a number of occasions and have always been pleased. There are 3 sandwiches and 3 grain bowls (salads) on the menu that are or can easily be made vegan. Our vegan group enjoys eating here now and then. The salads are fresh and loaded with healthy ingredients and they sometimes offer a vegan soup. It's fun to eat out on the patio and the owners, Walt and Ellie, are always kind and very accommodating to our dietary choices.

Pros: fresh ingredients, outdoor patio, friendly staff

Great Lunch options on the menu

We enjoyed a nice vegan luncheon a few days ago out on the patio at Great Harvest Bread. We had super salads with full of veggies, nuts, quinoa and wheat berries, a delicious lentil, curry, coconut soup, BBQ Sweet Potato sandwich. Reasonably priced too. Everything is made on site.

Pros: Several salad options, several sandwich options, They make great hummus and soup too.
