Fantastic food, friendly staff - Edit
Update: that garlic beet salad with pickled radishes is the absolute best! Anyone who thinks salads are boring will walk out of here with their world turned upside down!
Read moreUpdate: we visited last weekend and got the chickpea wrap with eggplant. It's hard to make it in with our schedule, because they only serve lunch. I get it, but man I miss swinging by here on Friday night for dinner! Still great friendly service, still high quality food. We shared the blueberry mess for dessert and it was perfect. Not overly sweet, just the right proportion of everything. Always happy to eat here, and they totally deserve 5 stars.
This is our go-to takeout place when we are in the Carlisle area. The menu is well-marked so it's easy to find vegan options and they are all tasty. They even manage to make eggplant taste amazing!😉Highly recommend the Sabich Wannabe (minus the egg) and the Chickpea Wrap (minus feta). The Motley Crop salad is a work of art -- beautiful, crunchy, and that dressing is the bomb. My grandfather used to say that to be vegan was to be perpetually hungry. Clearly he never got the chance to eat here. You will be quite happily sated, and if there's room for dessert, the Fat Badger cookies are quite tasty. So far we've just gotten takeout, but the atmosphere is really fun. I always enjoy the music they're playing and if the order isn't quite ready, we like to check out the goodies they have for sale (olive oil, etc.)

Enjoyed the chickpea wrap with eggplant. The Blueberry Mess was very interesting. Went with the popcorn instead of the chips and glad that I did. There was one vegan soup option. Recommend.

A fantastic restaurant for lunch in Carlisle. They have multiple vegan options or options that can easily be made vegan and are very knowledgeable about ingredients etc. The food is very fresh and they use local ingredients when possible. This is one of my go-to places for lunch. Highly recommend the Sabiche Wannabe which has a vegan option!

Love love love having vegan choices that aren’t just a Beyond Burger or that are saturated with grease and oil. Hit the spot without making me feel gross and heavy. No food coma!

I’ve been here more times than I can count. I love all of their menu. They have many vegetarian options and most can be made vegan. They seem to try and source much of their food locally. Good location in town. If you haven’t been here yet, it is definitely a must try in Carlisle.

Loved eating here! I got the Mediterranean and my husband got the chickpea sandwich- swapped the feta for eggplant spread on both! Absolutely delicious!! Got the dessert of the day, which happened to be vegan and gluten-free. Great staff and service. Our order was placed inside and they brought it out to us. Also they have take-out or to-go service on Fridays and Saturdays until 7.
