Vegan-friendly by-the-sea - Edit
Right in the middle of the Tourist Town, next door to the Cinnamon Roll joint with the big line outside, this little cafe is becoming popular too. They tell me 30 percent of their menu is vegan. The lunch menu has a half dozen options from Quinoa Black bean sliders to soups, salads, appetizers. I had the chili (slightly spicy) with the vegan cornbread, which they make from scratch. Several vegan dessert options too. Friendly cafe.
Pros: Tasty vegan food, Many vegan options, Reasonable prices
Cons: Mostly non-vegan, Can be noisy, Busy tourist town

Good Options - Edit
Went to Pismo Beach this past weekend and was starving. Checked this place out and even though the service is a little slow the food is amazing. It has a open kitchen format and the food is prepared fresh.
We had the grilled veggies, ferro, tomato soup as starters. The soup was decent. The ferro was really good.
For the main course had the wrap with vegan mayo. Tasted great.
If you are in Pismo beach and want good veggie food def check this place out
Pros: fresh food, many veggie options , friendly staff
Cons: service a little slow

moretofuplease 23 May 2015 - I want to second the response that the food at Graze is amazing. I live in Shell Beach, same zip code as Pismo, and there is little in the way of vegan food this good around here (Kunfusion is a close second). That starter you enjoyed is Farro, which is a type of wheat. What blew me away was their cornbread -- vegan! Spicy chili, excellent quinoa-bean burgers, lots of options (server told me 35% of their menu is vegan; and our party of five received attentive service). Save room for dessert next time -- there were two vegan options on our visit, chocolate cake and apple crisp.
