Overall good experience - Edit
This is a nice pizza place with a really good outdoor patio. The staff is all friendly, laid back, and attentive. We brought our dogs to sit with us on the patio, and they got a lot of attention. As you would expect, they played Grateful Dead music and other classic rock. The music for the vibe.
Read moreNobody wore masks, which I didn't mind because we were sitting outside.
My pizza was good. They said only the gluten free crust was vegan, which was ok, but I don't know why they make regular crust non-vegan. My wife didn't like that her pizza had whole olives instead of slices.
I was going to get a beer, but every one on the left side of the menu was non-vegan, according to barnivore.com. I had a soda instead of settling for a bad domestic beer.

Decent option - Edit
As others have noted, no more vegan cheese offered. Tree hugger pizza with no cheese was still a fine option. Olives are put on whole (not sliced) - can’t say I’ve seen that before! Service was really kind, but slow, and they were apologetic, but seems like the operations might have had a rough night. Pizza was a little on the expensive end for the area, but it’s a tourist town.

Tree hugger gf pizza - Edit
No longer offer vegan cheese. My pizza was also missing arugula. We were immediately seated inside, but the wait for food and the check took forever. Pizza was $17 and $3 for gf crust. I was still hungry after since the gf pizza is so small.

Great find! - Edit
Great atmosphere in the outdoor deck area and our server was awesome. We got the tree hugger pizza on gf crust, due to food allergies. We also created a 2nd veg pizza also on gf crust. The beers were very good as well.

Good pizza - Edit
Please note that the hours of operation are wrong, which I already alerted to Happy Cow. First we tried to go on a Monday night around 7:45 and they told us they decided to close at 7:30 that evening because two servers fell down the stairs and were injured, which seems like a safety hazard. They also told us their normal closing time was 8pm during the week. We tried again at an earlier time the next night and they were open, but it didn’t seem like they wanted to serve us for whatever reason. People were running around like crazy and everyone seemed exhausted - it was a very strange feeling. Everyone was really nice, but there was a weird vibe. People seemed overworked and frustrated. Anyways, the vegan pizza was pretty good. The vegan cheese is about $4 extra, which I wish we would have known (it doesn’t say on the most updated version of the menu) and I probably would have ordered it without because I think it would have been just as good. We also ordered the shakedown salad without cheese and Italian dressing, which was pretty good - I recommend it.

The Tree hugger with vegan cheese is amazing, and satisfies my olive obsession! I got the regular crust which is not vegan because they smear garlic butter on it before cooking. I simpy request they leave it off. I am not a big fan of gluten-free crust, but I hear there's is decent.

It serves food - Edit
Terrible, we ordered a vegan cheese pizza it came without sauce, they gave our garlic knots to someone else. I ordered a salad and it was whole pieces of vegetables, nothing was cut at all, it came in a tiny bowl with no dressing and no knife. Service was bad, long wait on a slow night, unbussed tables around us full of garbage, just gross. Now I know why the dead are grateful.

Vegan Pizza. - Edit
Make sure that you do not get the butter that they normally put on the crust to make your Tree Hugger Pizza actually vegan. Also always clarify to receive vegan cheese since they do not have a clear vegan pizza on the menu.

The pizza here was better than expected. Pizza itself was on the expensive side and the additional charge for vegan cheese made it a little worse, but still good nonetheless. And nice server.

Awesome pizza place - Edit
Love the decor and vibe here. Really love the adorable mountainside setting. Love that they have vegan cheese and understand what vegan means. Wish they had more topping options (eg tempeh, mock meat, etc) and brushed the crust with olive oil (since it is on the dry side when veganized due to not having garlic butter on it). Taste and vibe reminds me a lot of the Mellow Mushroom pizza chain.
