Awesome Healthy Store - Edit
A really wonderful healthfood store. Lots of choices and many different kinds of products from fruits and vegetables, ready made meals, vitamins, beauty products, etc. Lots of vegetarian and some vegan options.
Pros: vegan take away food, friendly staff

Good wholefoods store, fantastic bread - Edit
A good wholefoods store with slightly less vegan choices than I expected but I was very very happy to find fantastic German style rye bread there.
Pros: rye bread

fresh peanut butter! - Edit
Yes! A peanut grinder for making fresh peanut butter! Put it all the way to "chunky" and you will get an amazingly chunky specimen of peanut butter. Also like a store that has bulk ecover products for re-filling your old bottles. I mainly went back to the peanut butter...

Grassroots, top quality and tempting deli - Edit
I enjoy browsing the shelves and fridges of Grassroots, there is a treasure trove of goodies. Many of the things you would expect in a health food store, but also useful baking goodies, interesting varieties of chocolate etc.
The vegetable and fruit displays are enticing; always a good range and also seasonal local goods.
The vitamin/ health store next to the food shop has an extensive range, and the staff know all about what they sell.
The deli has freshly made take away goodies. Nice!
Pros: good veg selection, friendly knowledgeable staff, unusual products too!

Great selection of vegan sandwiches - Edit
This is a really great natural food's store with a totally awesome deli. in the back right hand side of the deli you'll see a fridge with about 6 or more different premade vegan sandwiches, you can get a bunch of other stuff prepared hot at the deli. The soup is awesome as well! The only trouble is there is no where to eat your food! Some tables would be great, but maybe since it was raining they put them away...
Pros: vegan sandwiches
Cons: no seating

So much in 1 place - Edit
This is one of the little impressive vegetarian gems in Glasgow! There is a deli mixed with vegetarian and vegan foods. Their choice of foods and drinks are impressive. I mean, there is practually vegan subsitute for every food product.
I was also amazed by the wide selection of beauty products and toiletries they have that are animal free. At the very back of that section they have a book section. They have cookbooks, health guides and general veggie help books.
It has other services as well. Such as a cafe and a massage service. So you know where to go if you have a sore back!
Pros: friendly staff, great selection of food and products, Loads of space
Cons: Pricey

Large range of products - Edit
A very large grocery section with big deli counter and fresh produce. There is also a cosmetics and toiletries room at the right selling a great range of ethical and natural products. Bit pricey, but there's a always a bargain to be had
Pros: wide range of goods, deli counter
Cons: price
