Good food and terrible staff. - Edit
I had some loose tea, a vegan blt sandwich and a vegan snickers cake and bought few items in the store.
Read moreCafe: Food was good, but not amazing. The pricing was reasonable but I didn't enjoy the vibe and the customer service. About 4 people working there were sitting in the middle on their phones. The person serving me didn't let me know that most of the items on the menu are not available but at the same time was asking me every single minute if I'm ready to order. The cakes weren't labeled, I wasn't given teaspoons with my tea and was way too intimidated to go and ask for them as I didn't want to interrupt them scrolling through their Facebooks. Overall wouldn't come back again to cafe
Store: the prices are really good and there's big selection of vegan food and cosmetics, especially loved their tea collection.

Good to shop - Edit
Being supposedly an organic place with some healthy options, we came here for that reason but was disappointed in what we got. The shop itself is great with good variety of vegan and packaged goods. However, the food was just okay. We were served rotten avocados and had to get it sent back for fresh one, and hair was found in my husband's dish. I think the potential is here for the cafe, but attention to quality is needed.

Huge place, good breakfast - Edit
Grassroots cafe is a really large place and also functions as a supermarket for vegan products (not everything is vegan here, though!). The vegan full breakfast is quite nice and they have a good selection of loose leaf teas - unfortunately, they did not do the teas justice by not telling us how long we should brew them in the pots they are served in.

Burgers are delicious and well priced especially considering they use sgaia. Vegan blt was amazing. Cakes are lovely and all staff very friendly! Great place to chill for a while and do some work

Cozy breakfast spot - Edit
Lots of vegan options, smoothies and cakes. Cozy atmosphere and nice staff. A good spot to grab some food, chill, read or do some work.
