I didn't even know they had so many options when I went, I thought it was just the vegan Caesar! Pleasantly surprised to find hefty mac n cheeze bowls, panini, and build your own bowl options! I got the Rehoboth panini and it was tasty and filling. Plus they have some of the best fries I've ever had anywhere. The ambiance was also really great and beautiful.

I was not impressed with the Un-Mac and Cheeze or the cheese sauce by itself. Both had very, very weird flavors and the Cheeze sauce was spicy. Why? Buffalo cauliflower wings were good but no vegan ranch??

We always hit GM when in Rehoboth Beach. We selected the orecchiete pasta with vegan "uncheese" and tofu, topped with vegan cheese Dorito crumbles. So delicious and the portions are huge. This visit, we also tried the vegan Caesar salad, quite good.

It's been a few days since eating here and I STILL am not over how delicious the vegan caesar salad is. Just, WOW! I will absolutely be ordering it again every time I'm back in town (and this is coming from someone who never bothers with the sad, disappointing salad option on ANY menu).

For a place that isn't fully vegan, they really knocked it out of the park with their options, especially and doubly surprising for the items that aren't their main attraction of mac and cheese dishes. I'm very pleasantly surprised.
Actually, the vegan mac was the only thing I wasn't totally head over heels in love with. It was fine, and I'd probably prefer the customized version with a bunch of add-ins to the basic version that comes with the combo meal. I'm definitely open to finding out next time we're in the area.

One of the few places in southern DE that has vegan meats and cheese. I think my favorite is the veg rehoboth panini but also love the mac uncheese. Good place to grab a meal with the fam cause there is something for every palate/ dietary preference. Honestly just a go to cause it is reliable and consistent!

In an area that is basically devoid of vegan eateries, Grandpa Mac offers a variety of vegan options that are beyond the generic tofu, salad, fries, veggie burger options. Firstly, the staff was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable which is always a plus. The first time I came here I got the vegan Mac and cheese with a bunch of toppings, the cashier was great and he even found a way to save me money creating my own bowl and it was good. I was a little surprised at how much my Mac and cheese cost until I saw the size and it was gigantic, def worth the money considering the price of vegan Mac and cheese is pretty high everywhere. I say good only bc my M&C preference is creamy and drowning in cheese sauce, this is more dry and oven baked which I also realize some ppl prefer. The second time however I ordered the Rehobeth veggie panini as well as the Tomatoe and chickpea soups. The panini was great, tasty, cooked well and affordable. The Tomatoe soup was Tomatoe soup but I thought the chickpea one was quite wonderful. Also the vegan panini plus two soups and a drink was 20 dollars even and that’s pretty damn fair if you ask me. Grandpa Mac is def worth the time to check out , I’ll def be back next time I’m in this area.

many vegan options and friendly staff. they have vegan mac n cheese and some vegan paninis. they also do build your own pasta bowls with options like vegan mozzarella, vegan “uncheese” sauce, faux chicken, tofu, and more. there are several appetizer options including fried cauliflower and vegan cheese fries. also sometimes they offer gluten free vegan brownies. love this place! definitely recommend for both vegans and omnivores.

Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu and there is an option to build your own. Definitely impressed that the pasta is made fresh daily. The paninis are a great size. But overall, I think the mac was too dry. Definitely not gooey enough despite the being a lot of cheese. The flavors are pretty good, I was just underwhelmed expecting a lot more.

I visited Grandpa Mac a couple years ago for a 'blind date', the date didn't go very well but the food was delicious. Great vegan option when you are tired of salads. Popular place too, the night I went (dinner time, 6 pm ish) it was rather busy.

In this area it's pretty hard to find filling vegan options, most of them are salads. My mother and I went there as she said my dad is making hamburgers for dinner and that there was nothing for me at their house a few days ago.
Read moreThe "mac & un-cheese" was good and I have eaten it for four different meals as we got the large. The wait was about 10 minutes which my mom thought was too long and she got antsy but 10 mins for food is not that bad. It does have almonds on the top in a kind of crumble situation.
They do have delivery and a happy hour with the mac and un-cheese and mushroom ragu both of which are vegan for $5 a small which would fill you up.
