So they promote their vegetarian/vegan meals and their effort is highly appreciated. Though I find the taste of their meals below my standards.

Cons: Taste needs improvement

A frustrated hope

We were so happy to find a place in Esfahan with vegan options in the menu. But then, the food was not that grate. Just acceptable. Like someone said in one of the previous comments, it is good they know what “vegan” means. Best way to find it is to look for Hotel Hakim.

Pros: No many restaurants in Iran with vegan options., Close to main sights.

Cons: Poor quality., Expensive by local standards.

Beggars can't be choosers

The proverb from title sounds much better it Polish because literally translated it means: When there are no fish, even crayfish is a fish. But anyhow, as you may already know, Iran isn't an easy place for vegans, so this little, cozy place, where around half of a menu is making cow happy - is worth trying. Every day there's a different menu. Unfortunately portions are small but at the same time quite cheap for people from Europe (2 EUR for a soup, 3 EUR for a dish) and a little bit more expensive than standard bars in Iran. Is it worth it's price? Well, considering you don't really have much choice - yes. Otherwise I think it could be a 2-stars place. Rice with lentils as a dish? Oh my... Still it's nice that someone thought about vegans in this hopefully developing country.

Pros: Vegan options in Iran

Cons: It's just good because of no competition, Slow service

great persian food

Very friendly staff and they know what vegan means, so it was easy to get recommendations what to eat.
On the daily menu we had 5 vegan meals and we even got a vegan dessert for free.

All around a great place to be

Pros: yummy persian food

Cons: opens up late
