Great hotel! - Edit
Great hotel, with wellness, sauna and swimming pool. Several vegan options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sometimes you need to ask for them, they are very willing to prepare whatever you would like. Highly recommend!

No vegan labled food - Edit
There wasn't any vegan labled food despite the description here on happycow, I guess they changed their menu.
Read moreWe had a mixed experience here. Ate here multiple times considering we were staying at the hotel. At breakfast our options were bread with jam or hagelslag.
At lunch we had a mixed experience: when requested, they could make us a vegan lunch that even had a vegan tosti (grilled cheese sandwich). The other time I got a sandwich that had egg on it and I had to send it back.
Dinner had two options that could be made vegan, both weren't our taste unfortunately. They did make us some light side dishes (small couscous salad and veggie stuff) that was nice.
Food is very 'posh' and pricey here. Staff is usually friendly and accommodating.
Edit:
Forgot to change this to two stars when I ordered something vegan again and while eating it discovered they had used cow milk in the dish. Some staff know what vegan is, other staff doesn't.

Ok ricetable, but not really special - Edit
This review is from a visit in 2015. So already a couple of years ago, but since now it is added on Happy Cow, it might be of interest to (potential) visitors anyway

Every Saturday evening, they served an Indonesian rice table (besides the regular menu). I had inquired in advance if we could get a vegan Indonesian ricetable (explaining what we do and don’t eat) and got confirmation. So we made a reservation.
When arriving at the restaurant, the waitress said she was told it would be difficult to get a vegan ricetable. Duh? I told her I had gotten confirmation beforehand and asked her to check with the kitchen. She returned from the kitchen and then said it was no problem. I wonder if this was a manouver to send us away afterall, because maybe they considered us too much work? Or just a matter of miscommunication? Anyway, it didn’t seem a problem from then on.
We weren’t asked whether we wanted a menu or just the ricetable as a main course, but apparanetly they had in mind we wanted a full menu, since we were served a soup, a main course and a dessert!
A nice dinner. Soup was a bit flavourless though.
We had a different opinion about the variety of the ricetable. I would have liked more vegetables (for example sweet and sour or gado gado – with peanut sauce), Jim was happy with the big chunks of tofu. The tofu (marinated in two different sauces) had a texture I had not seen many times before, more resembling the structure of seitan. There was also a dish with tempeh.
Menu totalled 34,5€, which we think was a fair price (for soup + ricetable + dessert).
The restaurant is very spacious, with a lot of light and a relaxed atmposphere. Comfy chairs.

Erg lekker en goede service - Edit
Er staan geen veganistische opties op de kaart, maar je kan van twee vegetarische opties vragen of ze daar een vegan versie van kunnen maken en dat is geen probleem. Het voorgerecht is een soort buffet waar je bordjes kan halen, maar als je aangeeft dat je vegan bent dan maken ze een bord vol met vegan hapjes voor ze. Bij de frietjes van mijn tafelgenoten kwamen ze zelfs een bakje vegan mayonaise brengen voor als ik een frietje mee wilde snoepen!

Heerlijk gegeten, leuke bediening - Edit
Bediening is erg vriendelijk en leuk. Je zit lekker met mooi uitzicht op de duinen. En we hebben er heerlijk gegeten.
