Not very nice

The place was clean and a reasonable atmosphere.

The food however left a lot to be desired for.

I chose a big breakfast which, when it came out was not hot, despite the corner sausage being cooked to rubber, that tattie scones were greasy, the haggis was over cooked as well.

I actually left half my plate which for me is unheard off.

My friend ordered crumpets with mushroom and scrambled egg, and want she got was crumpets with cheese bacon and scrambled egg!

Also they allowed someone to block an emergency exit with thier mobility scooter and a table.

I am disabled myself so understand challenges that can be faced when eating out, but the staff should have been on the ball.

Sadly I will not be returning

Pros: Clean and tidy

Cons: Blocked emergency exit, Badly cooked food

A lucky dip

I've been to granary many times now and honestly, the stars might align and you'll get a great meal, but mostly that's not the case. I used to ask for their vegetarian breakfast to be veganised and they would give me everything in the veggie breakfast minus the egg, which I thought was great! Then one day I asked for it, and was told that the veggie sausages had always contained cheese. I ended up eating beans on toast for breakfast there from then on.

Lunch and dinner wise, you might get more lucky if you come in on a day when there's a special such as the Sunday roast or fish Friday (they used to do a banana blossom fish n' chips). However, we ordered their vegan Sunday roast the other day and took ages, then both plates came out with a generous helping of cauliflower cheese which was very obviously not vegan. I asked for mine to be remade (my partner isn't vegan so ate his), by the time I got it he had finished his meal. Picture attached is what I got; they just replaced the cauli cheese with an extra couple of pieces of broccoli and charged the same.

Soup is sometimes vegan, but it'll always be brought out with butter on the side.

Pros: Cheap and cheerful, Omni's love it, Friendly waiting staff

Cons: Many, many mistakes, Low value for money for vegans
