Weird food and tastes. - Edit
I love that the chef here is trying to bring vegan food to the tables. I love it. However .... We started with the pretzel app with the vegan cheese sauce. The "pretzel" was basically a deep-fried pretzel-shaped quick bread. I mean, it was pretty tasty, but the consistency was weird and not what I expected when I ordered a pretzel. The cheese sauce that came out was a weird, completely flavorless white sauce, which was more like a straight up bechamel than anything else. We ordered the beer mustard to help pump it up. Alas, the beer mustard was entirely inedible. Mustard seeds suspended in a bitter bitter beer slime. Not good. The vegan mac n cheese, again, was weird. There was a weird flavor in the crumb topping, like... orange? Once you got past that, and the 8 or so cherry tomatoes, the mac n cheese itself wasn't bad at all. More of that, please! The vegan grilled cheese was.... well it definitely wasn't grilled cheese. It was a spinach avocado panini with some flakes of (vegan cheese?)... who knows what. It looked like some sparsely distributed coconut flakes. Not exactly the gooey melty sandwich we were expecting. Overall, it was weird. If it weren't for the beer mustard (which actually made us angry, it was so bad), I probably wouldn't be saying anything because it's important for good vegan places to be out there in the world... even if they're weird. But, I would hate for someone who isn't vegan eat this and then get turned off to plant-based foods for the rest of their lives. 2 stars for trying something different. But maybe they should taste this stuff before they send it out.

Tons of Wonderful Vegan Options - Edit
First, let me say that the ONLY reason I didn’t give this place five stars is because Happy Cow won’t let me, since it’s not 100% vegan or vegetarian. However, the food is extremely good, and the prices are about what you would expect for a higher end restaurant in this area. We had the General Tso’s cauliflower for an appetizer. Flavor was perfect, and the cauliflower was very tender. For dinner, I had the vegan noodle bowl (everything on their vegetarian menu can be made vegan), and my fiancé had the stuffed eggplant. Both were amazing. They even had vegan dessert options!

Plenty of Vegan Options - Edit
I was pleasantly surprised at how many vegan options are on the menu. We ordered the eggplant hummus, spaghetti squash, grilled cheese, and stuffed eggplant. Everything was very good, but it is a little pricey for the large plates. The pesto on the spaghetti squash and grilled cheese was amazing. They also offer vegan dessert options from No Whey bakery (including a creme brulee) but we decided to give that a try next time. As for drinks, I decided to try the smoked blueberry margarita. It was pretty small for $9, but very good and strong considering the size.

There is a vegetarian portion on the menu and ALL of the items in that portion can be made vegan. The flavours are phenomenal, I loved it and would totally recommend it here!

Super friendly staff was knowledgeable and happy to accommodate our vegan needs. Separate menu available. Beautiful space with plenty of bar seating as well as outdoor sidewalk dining. Great prices and specialty drinks. Very impressed!
