Tasty vegan food from scratch - a hidden gem! - Edit
I had a hard time finding this spot, but I was able to call a man (the co-owner?) who told me where to find it.
Read moreA kind woman took our order (we tried to communicate with her in broken French) and made our food completely from scratch. Thus, it took some time, so we recommend that you call ahead to place your order. We decided on samosas, peanut stew, and gboma dessi (spinach stew). The hibiscus juice was yummy too.
We really enjoyed the food, and the portions were large. However, it was a bit on the salty side. Regardless, we're glad we came here. I hope more vegetarian spots will spring up in Lomé!
Pros: Tasty food, Freshly made, Good service
Cons: Wait time - should order ahead, Atmosphere is spartan, but okay

The best food we had in Africa! - Edit
The lady working there is awesome, she's super nice and prepared some local dishes especially for us. Every single thing was absolutely delicious, it's a must go, especially here in Togo with so few vegetarian options!
