A breath of fresh air in ao nang - Edit
I found this amazing humble family run cafe through Google. Lila is so knowledge about food and the meals that she serves. In the 3 days that we were so grateful for having some lovely vegan/vegetarian dishes. In particular we really enjoyed the soya burger, fajita and an Indian inspired dish of which I cannot remember the name but it was delicious too. Oh and the pumpkin pie was amazing!!
We really hope this place continues to flourish in aonang so that it's still there when we return.
Thank you for everything guys we look forward to seeing you in the future.
Abbi and James 😁 xx
Pros: Clean and tidy, Love the Indian inspired decorations, The family run atmosphere
Cons: Wish we could have eaten here more often

Best Vegan food in Ao Nang!! - Edit
My girlfriend and I were worried about coming to ao nang, a strip full of restaurants catering to meat and fish eaters. But thank god we stumbled upon Govinda's. the food is amazing, and the portions are large! There is a special that rotates daily and I can't tell you how relieved we feel knowing that over the next five days we will be able to eat here, and be comfortably full when we leave. Please come and check this place out if you get the chance. The staff are lovely and kind. You will not be disappointed. If only I could give this place more than 5 stars!
Pros: Food, Portion size

Perfect! :) - Edit
The restaurant was beautifully decorated with a very friendly and cosy vibe. My boyfriend and I ate here a few times and it was all totally delicious. Finding vegan cake on my birthday was amazing and I even had a free one which was so kind! loved every visit :)

Amazing café! - Edit
Cute little café with mostly vegan food, only two items contained cheese and were clearly marked as vegetarian. There's no menu, you choose directly from the display case, which I loved. The lasagna was amazing, and my omni boyfriend loved his fajita too. Cheap, good sized portions that fill you up but leave just enough room for one of their delicious cupcakes or muffins. The Chilean family who runs this place is so sweet too, I'm so happy I found this café!
Pros: lots of vegan options, clearly labeled , delicious food , lovely staff

Good portioned, cheap, yummy food - Edit
I went here VERY hungry and ordered 3 things with my partner to share. The meals were very filling and we would have been okay ordering 1 meal to share!! The staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome.
Pros: good price, food fills you up
Cons: none

lovely! - Edit
had the daily menue with rice and chickpeas with tomato sauce. they had more vegan than vegetarian options (so I don't get why it's listed as vegetarian). could be more seasoned but as it is "jay"food maybe it's just the missing onion an garlic. the vegan White chocolate cupcake was delicious! friendly stuff, lovely decorated, fast to reach and quite easy to find.
so I would totally recommend to go there if you want to eat non-thai food.
Pros: many vegan options

Cute place but the food is not that good. - Edit
To be honest the food was not seasoned very well at all but they do change the menu every day so maybe we just got unlucky. They use mozzarella in alot of stuff, hopefully not the kind with rennet. The fajitas need alot more spices in the beans, they taste so bland. The place is cute but not enough protein option and they reheat stuff because they don't seem to have a proper kitchen.
Pros: nice people, cute relaxed place
Cons: They reheat premade stuff, They use cheese in some time items.

lovely vegan food - Edit
I had a lovely takeaway vegan pasty & vegan cup cake yesterday. It was so nice we went back for dinner later. I was so full up after lunch though that I could only share a soup with my husband!
Friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you are vegan or veggie. No alcohol, but it is a healthy place so you can always go for a drink afterwards.
Pros: tasty food, friendly staff
Cons: no alcohol

Must visit this restaurant if you're veg - Edit
Friendly owners, family operated and varied menu make this place special.
After a straight week of Thai food, this place was a refreshing reminder that vegetarian options in Thailand are not just noodle dishes, curry and rice.
Loved this spot.

Simple yet good (more of an cafe than a restaurant) - Edit
From our trip around Thailand we stayed at Krabi, Ao Nang for a 5 days and looked around for a pleasant meal, luckily we hit up Happycow to discover this welcoming place in a little bit hiden street.
It is really a simple place and it intends to be.
The vibe is carefree yet alert and every move made in preparing our food was considerate - truly fulfilling experience.
No, it is not a place where the butler has a stick between hes or hers buns to keep a smile on your face, neglecting his or hers - no
The experience is more like visiting a friend, where you see your people and accept them for who they are and they do the same, it really feels like home, when you open yourself to it!
The food has an vedic twist to it, as you feel that everything has its balance, no overpowering flavour.
The experience was good and the food was good, but it tends to be a little bit more suitable for breakfast/lunch than for dinner.
The pastry is certainly cafes strong suit. Same goes for the salty and the cakes, really nice!
The atmosphere is more western than anywhere else we found in Ao Nang Beach, really nice cafeteria to do your lunch break in or enjoy yourself.
The owners are really nice and open, make sure not to march in with your foot gear on, as the floor is cleaned for you to be there on your barefoot.
Thank you!
Pros: cakes, good value, good portions, good atmosphere, good vibe, good food, friendly staff
Cons: more of an cafeteria than restaurant

Great Food - Edit
Cute restaurant off the main strip of beach in Aonang-- the only vegan/vegetarian only restaurant I could find in the area. The food was flavorful, tasted fresh and the owner was very kind. It's a bit pricier than some other places I've seen but a real treat!

Amazing food, good vibe! - Edit
We visited back in November and were so happy that we took a boat over from Railay to find this place. We had a delicious vegan calzone, fried potato ball with dip, and a vegan version of seco (steak) with rice and sauce.
So delicious, every bite. The owner and his daughter were super sweet. The inside was adorable, very nice vibe.
Pros: Delicious food, atmosphere

Fantastic!!! - Edit
This restaurant has only been open a few months, go and give them your support you WILL NOT be disappointed. The food tastes amazing and the family who run the place are so friendly and make you literally feel right at home. Almost everything is vegan including the desserts such as vegan cupcakes!! The owners are just the sweetest and the food is divine so get down to this place and try everything they have to offer. There are so many food choices in Krabi and Ao Nang and yet so little of them are for veggies. This place is your go-to gem.
Pros: Sweetest Family Ownership, Amazing, unique, vegan food, Good prices
