Disnt understand vegan

I was really disappointed with this place. As the only vegetarian restaurant in Lusaka, I had high hopes.

The server didn’t understand vegan, and I asked if the Thali was, and explained no dairy or eggs, and was told it was. When it came one of the dishes had milk in, and the other was a yogurt one.

Maybe just the server, as but what could have been a regular place for me, I have no desire to go back.

A good choice in Lusaka

Call it vegetarian with options for vegans whereas I'm lucky to find omni fare with vegetarian options. (See Cremosa.) Frankly, I'm more of a vegetable-eater instead of cooked, fried, added-oil stuff like this. Not a complaint, just my bias. Probably asking too much in Lusaka.

Pros: Options

Cons: More vegetarian than vegan, Nary an unadulterated vegetable in sight.

Homely, tasty, cheap

There is a ton of choice for vegans, they are used to vegan customers so can advise on what is suitable. The price is great. Its not a healthy food place though so don't expect that! It would be great if coconut yoghurt is available and a vegan sweet option. That would make it an all rounder!

Pros: Price, Choice, Taste

Cons: No vegan yoghurt e.g. coconut, No sweets

Only dedicated vegan restaurant in Lusaka

Great and tasty food options for a vegan. A great place for Indian cuisine, I've enjoyed a couple options from there. Overall customer service is fair

Pros: Great varieties on menu

Cons: Place is a little too open for cozy dinners

A vegan's relief in Zambia

Plenty of options on the menu for vegans. Its quite obvious which options to avoid but staff are very helpful. Great prices. Its the go-to for vegans in Lusaka. Unfortunately no vegan sweet options. Recommend taking your own coconut yoghurt (sue's wellness hub on twin palms makes it!) If you like yoghurt.

Delicious abundance of veggie/vegan Indian dishes - lovely service ❤️🙏🏼🌱

I found this great restaurant during a business trip while I was longing for a good veggie plate. From the first minute I felt very at home and it was not easy to choose from all the great dishes they had on their menu. The team was extremely friendly and helping me to make the right choice. I would recommend this to anyone who loves Indian food but also veggie or vegan. It’s perfect and original Indian!

Pros: fantastic menu & plenty of Indian specialities , very friendly and caring staff, super clean and nice ambiance

So much choice Including dosa

One of my favourite dishes is the Masala Dosa, so I was very pleased to find the real thing on the menu here. There s a lot of choice for both vegetarian and vegan food. The food is really good! The ambiance not too much. It goes to show that all the investment goes into the food rather than the interior ;-)

Pros: Many option and only fully vegetarian restaurant, Good and tasty food, Masala dosa (duh)

Cons: Not a place for a romantic dinner
