poor service and average food - Edit
Went in at 7pm Weds May 8th.A lone man staffed the cafe. Cafe looks down at heel, scruffy. We had less than piping hot veggie mashed up nondescript food , and we had later to be told by our waiter "no hot drinks cos our machine is not working." He refused to get me a chai, because coffee machine out of order. A white kettle was clearly visible, but we pursued it no further. Service was really poor and we paid and left.
Pros: vegan dishes, not too pricy
Cons: staff attitude, scruffy decor

Govinda's - always a delight to find - Edit
Some of the most reliable vegetarian food, at the best prices, spanning the globe. You can always count on Govinda's.
Seating is somewhat limited but there are stools along a pseudo bar-style counter lining part of the restaurant.
Servers are very friendly, not pushy, and will give you all the information you require about what they are serving on a particular day.
Ideal if in a rush or if you have the time to savor the deliciousness!
Pros: Price, Volunteer Staff, Consistently good food
Cons: A bit small

Pretty good food, big bowls - Edit
We only had a bowl each of the soup of the day (it was dal) and it came with giant slices of bread. It was more than enough for a lunch, and at 4.95 euro, it wasn't a bad price, especially in Dublin. The other foods looked good, but a platter is 10 euro, so way too much for a lunch. Try one of their 'traditional Indian' desserts for an interesting flavour. It's nice to be in a veg place. Some dairy used.
Pros: totally vegetarian, interesting desserts
Cons: a bit too expensive

Govinda's 3, Dublin - Edit
This is the third branch of Govinda's to open in Dublin. If you have been to either of the other to then you will know what to expect - they stick to the same tried and trusted formula that they have in the other two branches. Wholesome, tasty at reasonable prices dished out in decent portions. Vegan veggies are catered for.
This branch is located on Merrion Row along from St Stephen's Green.
Pros: Vegan veggie friendly, Centrally located, Open decent hours

great food - Edit
I was so happy when this place opened up close to where I worked. Great Govinda's food at the same great prices. If you are hungry this is a super place. You can eat in or get take out and eat in Stephen's Green or Merrion Sq. Great stuff, thanks Govinda's.
Pros: yummy food, good value, good location
