Good place! Here you will be served tasty and inexpensive food. there are vegan desserts and main courses, but most items are vegetarian. The interior is rustic inside and looks like a dining room, but outside, in the shade of plants, it is calm and cozy.
In a city of all meat eating restaurants, this and Damodara are literally an Oasis. Food was great and the atmosphere was great. Govinda has the edge on Damodara in terms of getting the food out quickly. But both places are worth the wait if there is one. Price is great.
I have visited there about 6 times and have been happy always. I speak Russian, that is the lingua franca in Ukraine. I was told they have English menu too but I do not know how well they actually speak English.
Service Here is prompt and friendly. Food is well prepared, mildly spiced and the taste and style adjusted to satisfy Slavic taste. Prices are inexpensive or moderate compared to similar places. The place is clean and tidy, decorated with taste.
Now when it is the Greek Catholic pre Easter fasting period, there is vegan food available everywhere. Just use the local word "post" that is their fasting food and they will give a separate menu. In this place you need to ask "postnyi".
