Not many vegan options

It smelled great and the volunteers were lovely, but they only had two options that weren’t cooked with ghee, a salad and cooked cabbage with potatoes. I was too hungry to eat just that. They also sell plant-based meat.
It’s a bit tricky to find. It’s close to where it’s shown on Google Maps, on the same side of the pavement. I’ve attached some photos for reference

Wonderful place

The concept of donation-based meal is so great and inclusive! The food was very tasty, the portions are big. Vilas, the person who served the meal, is very nice and we had a long and wonderful conversation. Then we went to the temple and I joined the mantra session and communicated with other nice people. As we were talking and went to the temple I almost didn't notice that I didn't pay, they didn't ask me for it. Only in the temple when I asked about payment for food, they told me that it is a donation box there and a prime cost for a portion is 30 lei – which is very affordable, some give more, some give less. So, I hope to go there again soon! The place is inspiring and I wish there would be more places like this. Warm regards

Pros: Good vegan options, Donation-based, Warm and nice atmosphere

Excellent Staff, Food served with Love

It's less than 100 meters from Indika Hostel and I have been eating here everyday for last 5 days + getting take away food too. Every day there is different set lunch but usually has rice/grains, veggies, salad, soup and sweet. Plus you can also buy cakes and other sweets. All the staff is excellent, especially Vilas Vihari Das. On Sunday, in the evening around 6 PM, there is dinner. Food is simple but its made with love and served the same way. Try it - you will like it! Highly recommended.

Pros: Vegetarian, Cheap, donation-based, Set meal

Cons: Nothing!
