We were there two days in a row (at times when according to Google and according to Happy cow should be open) and the café was closed both times and no indication of vacation or similar :(

Café mit großer Kuchenauswahl. Es gibt zudem Eis und Sitzmöglichkeiten im Innen- und Außenbereich. Die Mitarbeiterin* war sehr nett und gab uns ausführliche Auskunft über die gesamte Auswahl. Wir waren zwei Mal da und fanden alles, was wir hatten, sehr lecker.

A great selection of traditional and modern cakes. Loved the pistachio cake (Pistacija deluxe), creamy Jagodna kremšnita and their mindblowing pistachio "Monoporcijska pistacija" cake (with ice cream on the inside). Great cappuccino, too :)

At Gourmet Lent serves top-quality vegan cakes and desserts from the renowned Maribor brand Cukrdoza, along with masterpieces from master chef Tinca Vomer from Carinthia. Additionally, we will proudly present our own creations, such as delicious apple strudel made from organic apples and a mango coconut cake by master chef Nuša, which are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
Our menu also feature fresh smoothies made from premium, ripe, and sweet fruits. We understand that only the best fruit can deliver true flavors, so we will carefully select only the highest quality ingredients. Smoothies are part of our offering because we recognize the importance of fruit in a healthy diet, and we want to provide our guests with a nutritious and refreshing meal. Furthermore, we offer warm sandwiches and toasts to ensure our menu is truly diverse and appealing to all tastes.
We place special emphasis on coffee. We serve premium coffee from Caffe Carraro, a renowned Italian roastery with a 90-year tradition of roasting located near Vicenza. Carraro coffee is known for its exceptional quality and rich flavor, which is sure to satisfy all lovers of this popular beverage. In addition, we offer organic coffee for those seeking sustainable and environmentally friendly options.
Our guests are able to enjoy organic drinks, such as organic apple juice from local farms and organic wine from the region. We are proud to support local producers while offering top-quality, healthy, and sustainable choices for those who appreciate fine beverages.
It’s not just about food for us—we want to create a space for relaxation and connection. The culture of reading and socializing have a special place in our “book exchange” corner, where guests can swap books or read over a cup of premium coffee.
