Tasty but a bit underwhelming - Edit
Read moreI came here with my wife as I had a 50% off voucher. This is a large branch of GBK with seating spread over two floors, although strangely the toilets are even higher than this - on the second floor.
They had a selection of three vegan burgers as well as various sides that were all clearly labelled vegan or not. We both went for the Californian burger while I got a side of Sweet Potato Fries and my wife got Skinny Fries. We also got a pot of BBQ relish each (mine came free with my fries). The Californian burger featured a Quorn chickenless fillet with an interesting selection of fillings. It was tasty and I enjoyed it but I wasn't blown away by the flavour. I also felt it was a bit on the small side. My sweet potato fries were also tasty. The BBQ relish was really tasty.
Although I enjoyed my meal I didn't feel very full after and I actually ate a hot cross bun I had in the car straight after the meal. I found this a bit disappointing as at full price it would have cost £16.50 for my burger and fries and that seems a lot to come away not feeling full. My wife also didn't feel full after her meal. I would say it's worth coming if you have a voucher but it's not somewhere I would recommend going out of your way to visit.
