Vegan Options Available - Edit
Beautifully located. Specific vegetarian section of the menu with some vegan options. We had a fantastic waiter who was able to advise that vegetarian burger is not vegan (brioche bun), but pizza can be made vegan without cheese. Soy bolognese was delicious. Sides of grilled vegetables and chips were yum.

Dining near the cathedral - Edit
Fairly priced (for an expensive city like Dubrovnik), with nice atmosphere in one of the squares near the cathedral.
Read moreNot loads of vegan options but was good to see a vegan bolognaise on offer. This was very tasty! Our waiter was also quite understanding of vegans and vegetarians, and that hasn’t always been the case in Dubrovnik.
Also lovely cocktails!
Pros: Atmosphere, Friendly staff
Cons: Not loads of options

Vegan choices - Edit
Large list includes small vegan/vegetarian section. At least soy bolognese, chichpea stew and mushroom stroganoff are vegan. All drinks are expensive. Very friendly service. Mushroom stroganoff was good, but portion was small.

Amazing atmosphere - Edit
We found this restaurant by chance (although it was already listed on happy cow) and loved it. They had live music and quickly brought us whatever we desired. If you are travelling with omnivores or vegetarians, I can highly recommend this place.

Tasty but small - Edit
I was starving when I got to the restaurant, but happy to see they offered proper vegan meals, instead of burgers. I ordered the mushroom stroganoff with rice, which was very tasty, but small. It tasted very cheesy, and I was suspicious it was not actually a vegan meal, but I couldn't find the ingredients anywhere in the menu, so I trusted the restaurant as it lists it in the vegan section.

Cons: Small portion, Unclear ingredients

The stroganoff is in fact NOT vegan. I asked the waiter today and he said it's only vegetarian. The stew and the pasta however are vegan as well as the bruschetta (in the starters section).

That's not good😒! I made sure to order the "vegan stroganoff" so they knew I was vegan, and they never mentioned it wasn't vegan. Plus, they list it as vegan.

Vegan options - Edit
Great to find somewhere that offers actual vegan options!
Read moreI had the soya bolognaise, it was pretty tasty and a deceptively large portion. My daughter had the vegetarian burger, which we were assured was vegan except the bun- the waitress was really helpful and offered to swap the bun for some of their homemade bread which was vegan. The burger itself was made from soya so was quite ‘meaty’. Staff had a good understanding of veganism, which seems to be a rare thing in Croatia!

Excellent vegan food in a sea of no options - Edit
I went to several restaurants and were told they served no vegan food. I was incredibly surprised by the quality provided at Gourmet Bar Ginger, and the scenery when we arrived was splendid. We could also hear the jazz music from the neighboring bar too which added to it. The dish looks small, but was rather filling considering!

Cons: Minimal staff for time we arrived
