Excellent vegan fast-food. I suggest to try the ginger lemonade.
XXL servings (but it seems to be the hungarian standard).

Also, we had to go at the Opera and did not have much time to eat before the show. Since Gorilla is very near to the theatre, this has been the perfect solution.

I went to this restaurant twice while visiting Budapest. The first time I ordered the Vegan Cheesy with a tofu burger and the whole meal bun. It was honestly one of the best Vegan burgers that I have had in a really long time. It was also cheap (less than $3 USD?!?) and extremely large!

I went back the second time and got the bean burger which was still good but I would recommend the tofu burger. I got a vegan milkshake but wouldn't recommend it. It was not cold, watery and mainly tasted like soy.

Nice staff, English is spoken. The menu is simple but there are also some daily specials listed on a board behind the counter.

Despite not liking the shake, I really, really recommend this place!

Small restaurant centrally located. Me and my friend both ordered the bean burger and payed approx. $2,50 each. We got to choose between whole meal bun or regular, and it was served with ketchup and mustard + cheese/vegan cheese for additional 20 cent. (and salad of course) The burger itself was a bit too salty and personally I don't like mustard, but all in all the place was really nice, the staff was friendly, and it was well-spent money. They apparently have a really good lunch deal and I'm definitely gonna visit the place again.

Very nice people that run this tiny place right in the center of town. Small but adequate menu with freshly baked burgers (tofu, beans) and a salad bar. Short stroll from Deak ter metro.

It almost feelt like a robbery to eat this good food for so little money! I had a excellent tofu burger for 500 ft and it was more than enough. Maybe there could be a little less bread and more salad and tofu in the burger.
The staff was really lovely and the other guests as well. Because it is such a small place you will really interact with the locals ;)

Tiny place just in the heart of the city. If you are hanging about near Deak square it is literally on the conrer. Look for a small green flag with a gorilla on it.
There is a daily menu, you can also get snacks, such as hamburgers and hot dogs with french fries and salad.
Massive portion with reasonable prices, compared to European ones I would say it is damn cheap. A burger is less than 2euros. Daily menu (soup + 2nd dish) is for 4euros.
Everything is vegan, though for the burgers and hot dog you can order extra cheese as a topping.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommended for every fellow traveller.

Cute little place run by nice people. Menu simple, and only in Hungarian for now - they are not open long - but they were happy to translate. We had 2 big burgers and some chips (fries) freshly cooked to order. Tasty and very good value.
