Extravagant pizza in El Nido - Edit
Gorgonzola was easy to find and had many shared tables. The menu catered to vegans and you could design your own pizzas. The pizza was huge and tasty! However, some toppings were scarce. Definitely worth a visit!

Good pizza but expensive - Edit
Really nice wood fired pizza in El Nido. Option of vegan parm or mozzarella. They were out of stock of the mozzarella so I had the parm and it was still really good. I did find the thing that gave the pizzas the most taste was by adding the flavoured olive oils that are on the tables. But I loved that you could build your own but it’s very pricey. This was my most expensive meal by far in El Nido.

Huge pizzas! - Edit
Vegetarian Italian restaurant off the Main Street. Simple menu or create your own with 2 types of vegan cheese. Small is 16” (!), and large 24”. Good value for money. Cash only but ATM across the road.

When we walked in we saw the 24" pizza which was huge. We shared it with 3 people. Might be too much if you're with 2.

Good pizza - Edit
Went as a group and I was the only vegan one. Everyone enjoyed their food. They made me vegan cheese especially as they had run out and I was sooo sad about having no cheese on the pizza - absolutely amazing service 👏

Ok 👍🏻 - Edit
It’s very pricey and I honestly don’t think it’s worthy. Pizzas are huge and it was always busy every time I walked past it. If you’re hungry and looking for big portions this is a good options, overall very average vegan pizzas (they only had two flavors)

Great pizza - Edit
They have vegan cheese that seems to be made in house. Lots of toppings to choose from. You can build your own pizza or pick one from their set menu. Keep in mind that their small pizza is huge, enough for two people. The large is bigger and would suit a group of 4-5.

Do not go here if you’re vegan - Edit
We were so excited for this place but were extremely disappointed. We had the vegan pizza and please look at the photo attached for what we got. After I asked the staff to add more toppings because this was just sad, they said that this would cost extra. I told them that this is not normal as around us all the other pizzas looked great. I asked if they could just put ours back in the oven with some extra vegan mozzarella. After a long back and forth they reluctantly gave me a tiny bowl of Parmesan (non vegan of course so couldn’t eat it) and definitely did not put it back in the oven. The 12 euro pizza was one of the worst vegan pizzas I’ve had. The place is super loud, you’re eating on top of one another because they keep adding people to tables. It’s a 1/10 for me.

Good pizza and excellent pasta - Edit
The main draw to Gorgonzola’s is there GIANT “show-stopping” 24inch pizzas. The pizza was nice but we found it to be slightly more quantity than quality. However, the pasta dish was delicious! Order at counter and food delivered to table. 5% service charge automatically added to bill. Cash only. Great selection of Italian Vegitarian and Vegan dishes.

Mind blowing Pizza! - Edit
Gargonzola serves possibly some of the best pizza in the Philippines.
Read moreNo wonder it draws a regular large crowd so that sharing large tables is necessary. Sit at the end of the table and you may sweat from all the wood ovens.
Garganzola allows you to choose pizza size, crust, sauce, cheese, and ingredients. While expensive for the Philippines, it costs less than half that as this quality of pizza in the US.
I love the crisp-on-the-outside soft-on-the-inside crust, the house-made nut cheese?, and the fresh quality toppings. I added spinach, arugula, wild mushrooms, Kalimata olives, and pesto to at least one of the three pizzas I ordered. A small is good for 2 people, although a hungry person could eat one and have a couple slices for tomorrow.
Don’t miss this place!!!

Large portions but underwhelming pizza - Edit
We ordered them, so that might also have contributed to the meh experience we had, if they were warm and not that soggy it would have tasted better. The delivery took insanely long as well, so I would always recommend just going to the restaurant. The pizza is huge, but I did not really like the taste. It was a bit bland and the umami flavour was lacking. However, it was really nice to have a vegan pizza with cheese and they put on a lot of toppings which is always good

Top Pizza place - Edit
We had a great time at Gorgonzola, their pizzas were awesome and if you’re vegetarian this is the place to be! However, although the vegan pizza was good, the base being the best, they still left a little to be desired in the cheese department. I’d recommend going for the powder type cheese rather than the fake looking cheese as the flavour is far better. The rest of the toppings were quite basic so nothing special. But I’ve not found any other pizza place worth going to, so if you’re in El Nido and you fancy pizza, it’s worth a stop!

Huge Pizza - Edit
We ordered the 24 inch pizza, and sure enough it was huge. However it is so very thin that it's not as much pizza as you think so it's easy to share between two people. There is a wide choice of toppings including vegan mozzarella and vegan parmesan but all the toppings are also very thin. It's a bit pricey for what you get, but it's still a nice pizza.

24” Vegan Pizza! - Edit
What a place! We couldn’t quite believe the size of the 24” pizza but still managed to finish the whole thing between 2 of us. I feel the pizza may have lost a little quality due to being stretched so big, but it was still super tasty! I recommend customising your own as it works out cheaper than the set vegan pizza and you get to choose all your fave vegan toppings. Slightly pricey but delicious nonetheless. *just a note that the vegan cheese isn’t melty/stringy its more crumbly and scattered in blobs (as an FYI).

Hi savagefoodie!!
Read moreWe are happy to hear that 2 people finished the 24'' pizza! haha
We are taking notes for the vegan mozzarella, just keep in mind that 85% of our ingredients are imported from Italy (from olive oil, 00 flour, tomato sauce, cheese, truffle oil, etc) and delivered to this beautiful island. We are doing the best price we can. Besides that, the size of our dishes is generous compared to other establishments in town. So you only win :D
We are glad you liked the option to make your own pizza by choosing your toppings.
Prices for our vegan pizza recommendation and the same topping on the "make your own" results in the same price. It depends on how many toppings you want in your pizza.
Thank you for your kind review and we hope you had a great time in Palawan Paradise!

Rude staff and had to queue for 30 mins for them to tell me that vegan moz was - Edit
- out of stock. I went here twice, ate once. The first time I had the vegan lasagna, which was ok, not worth it for the money. Second time we waited 30 mins to order (you have to go up to the counter) for them to tell you that they have no vegan cheese.
