Read moreAt the week we have been there they had a „vegan-week“ anyway, thus 95% of the offered food was vegan.
We took the gopal-menu, which was offering a choice of different food, which was not spicy at all, which would have been typical for indian food. You may use the spice at the table, if you wish to.
They also had a very delicious Mango-Lassi based on coconuts.
Very recommendable!

If you’re vegan and visiting Tours you must eat at Gopal. Service and food is exceptional. After weeks of salad and pasta, I enjoyed a magnificent variety of delicious foods including the best vegan chocolate mousse I’ve ever had.

Our host was amazing and she offered a wonderful choice of vegan food. The restaurant is 80% vegan and is an absolute must to visit if you are anywhere near Tours. The flavours of the food were superb, not spicy hot but had a perfect taste. We decided to grab some takeaway for tonight it was so good. Such a shame that there aren’t more restaurants like this one in France !!! Much better than we have in Sydney!!

Un restaurant très propre, personnel très agréable. La nourriture est variée, délicieuse et plein de saveurs. J'ai mangé du riz, du potage et des boulettes qui étaient incroyables !! Le dessert est au rendez-vous de même. Le cake chocolat orange praliné était à tomber. Le meilleur restaurant vegé de la ville sans hésitation😄

I this a well hidden gem of a restaurant! The signage is not very obvious, so it took a while, but actually it's just in front of the "Tranchée" bus stop and 2 minutes from the Tram stop of the same name.

Its 90 percent Vegan with plenty of desserts to delight your taste buds. Definitely worth the visit, it's just a shame they are bit open longer hours...
