Healthy vegan food - Edit
The food in the Goodsoul is very fresh and healthy. The Quinoasalad was extremely good. And the homemade country curry fries with vegan mayo are very nice. We will definitely come back to taste further dishes and go for the breakfast.

Hi. That burger looks lovely. But does it come with only six chips? :)
Read morercsmit
Yes six or seven, but they are quit big and dense. In general you will be filled up after eating the meal.

Hands down best smoothie bowls I've ever had overall and I've had a lot of smoothie bowls!
Read moreThe mango smoothie bowl is probably the best and also the mushroom cheeseburger.
Pros: Best mango and Cacao smoothie bowls, Possibly best burger ever

best burger and fries in Chiang Mai - Edit
We went here for lunch and weren't sure what to order. Menu was a mix of Thai and western dishes. We ended up ordering a massaman curry wrap and quinoa burger with fries, with a thai iced tea. We both thoroughly enjoyed our food. I've had 3 burgers in CM and this was by far the best - the fries were out of this world too! Food is a little more expensive but understandably so. There are also many dessert options that looked tempting, though we were too full to try.

A bit disappointing - Edit
We stumbled upon this place, hungry for fancy/western food, willing to pay a bit more than we usually would, really wanting to treat ourselves... And we were quite disappointed. I had the Tempeh salad, which consisted of raw (bland!) Tempeh, a huge amount of cucumber and some other veggies with a passion fruit dressing. It didn't taste round and was lacking flavour. Way too much cucumber, too. My partner got the bagel and while the filling was quite nice (cashew cheese and another type of cheese), the bagel itself wasn't nice at all. If it would've been toasted, maybe that would've made a difference...
Read moreConsidering we only tried 2 dishes, I'm thinking we were just unlucky and they probably have great stuff on their menu, but maybe avoid these two dishes if you come here.
Pros: Many fancier dishes and western options
Cons: On the pricey side, lacking flavour

Delicious 😋 - Edit
This cute little vegan cafe is situated at the quieter end of Chiang Mai. It has asian and western cuisine. It’s one of the best vegan restaurant I have ever been to. The falafel wrap is to die for and huge serving size. I ate there twice when I was in Chiang Mai.

Great Brunch Menu! - Edit
I came here for brunch when I first arrived in Chiang Mai and then returned daily. Their Falafel was delicious, but the brunch options are what kept us coming back. Loved the breakfast sandwich and mango topped pancakes!

Good menu - Edit
The place sort of has a 1950s feel to it. The menu is very well rounded with Thai and western dishes. I had drunken noodles and vegan vanilla ice cream. Both were awesome. One issue maybe is you have to flag down the staff to order anything else or to get the bill.

Good brekkie - Edit
Really enjoyed the muesli bowl - good size, toppings, and the added soy yoghurt was nice a addition to just standard cocnut milk. Thought it was worth the price.

Goodsouls for good souls - Edit
How do I give 50 stars? Goodsouls is one of my three fave restaurants in Chiang Mai. Besides its delicious food (the only restaurant I've found that serves scrambled tofu for breakfast) and such friendly staff, it also is one of the cleanest places you will find.
Read moreAnd it serves plant-based vegan cheese from a Chiang Mai-based company which is superb.
My favorite dishes include: all their smoothies, the aforementioned scrambled tofu, and their veggie burgers.
Don't miss this place.
Pros: Cleanliness, Friendly, attentive staff, Stir-fried tofu, vegan cheese, and other goodies
Cons: A little pricey, but well worth it.

I would eat 3 meals a day here every day if I could. Amazing coffee with coconut milk. Western food and Thai food are both amazing. You can’t go wrong at Good Souls. The staff are friendly and the environment is perfectly peaceful. Mostly highly recommended!

Mixed experience - Edit
This place has a nice atmosphere and people are friendly. It is a bit pricey, but possibly worth it if you choose your dish carefully.
Read moreThe first time I went I had the green curry and have to say it’s the first time in my life I didn’t like it (I was a bit shocked!). To me it tasted bitter, like too much of something had been added and loads of fresh coconut which I didn’t really like.
I decided to go a second time as it generally has good reviews, and anyway I felt like something western so got the mushroom cheese burger. It was very, very good so I’m pleased I gave this place another go. Smoothies are very nice too.
Pros: Friendly atmosphere , Great burgers, Tasty smoothies
Cons: Green curry wasn’t good, A bit pricey

Nice - Edit
We ordered the bagel, beetroot burger, banana passionfruit lassi, black mocha coffee, iced caramel macchiato and lemon poppyseed cake + raw passionfruit mango cheesecake. The lassi was to die for. The bagel, beetroot burger and lemon poppyseed cake were good. I did not like the cheesecake and the iced coffee. It is not super cheap but they have a ton of options.

Fantastic breakfast!! - Edit
My boyfriend and I had just gotten off the the night train from Bangkok and were super hungry/in need of some energy as we'd barely eaten or slept and had walked 3 miles in the rain, with our backpacks to locate our hostel!
Read moreI'm so glad we found Goodsouls! They open early (at 7am), which was really handy and their menu is full of delicious treats. We got there about 8am and were served quickly, which was great as I was practically on the verge of passing out at this point!
I ordered a fruit, granola and yoghurt bowl and my boyfriend ordered the brown rice mushroom bowl. We both got a mocha with coconut milk.
The portions were massive! I easily got 3 of my 5 a day from the fruit bowl! Both of our breakfast were amazing and just what we needed to fuel a day of sightseeing. We didn't need lunch! I found the mocha with coconut milk a bit creamy but my boyfriend loved it. It probably just seemed a bit sickly because I was also eating a mound of fruit and yogurt!
Would 100% recommend this place for breakfast.
Pros: Massive portions , Fresh food, Served quickly
