Serves meat, vegan options available. Labeled vegan choices are the tropical green & J.J. breakfast smoothies, oatmeal, tofu scramble, power salad. Burgers, sandwiches, chili, salads and wraps can be made vegan by omitting the cheese. There are no vegan desserts or a children's menu as of July 2021. Open Mon-Sat 7:00am-2:00pm. Closed Sun.

Best breakfast and lunch options you’ll find in DT ES

I like the tofu scramble they serve here, I get it almost every time. Cute diner feel and never a wait. Vegan power salad is good also if you’re in the mood for greens. I like the chili as well - all good beans. Options are very old school WFPB.

It’s not perfect - the bun on the veggie burger isn’t vegan, and options are not particularly creative, but I give it 4 stars, a slightly inflated review to correct for the previous one. I have been many times and always enjoy.

OK in a pinch

Food:
Was going to eat lunch here after going to the beach, but my first choice was closed. Ordered the vegan scramble and coffee. Scramble was more like sautéed veggies with a few cubes of seasoned tofu thrown in. Not "scrambled" at all. Coffee was warm brown water, no flavor.

Service:
Five servers working. All seemed to ignore me. Got seated right away and waited. And waited. Waited some more. Finally, one came and asked me for my drink order. I started ordering food and was told "I'm just doing drinks". Finally "food server" came and took order. I asked for a side of BBQ sauce for the scramble (thinking it would be like scrambled "eggs").

Food finally arrived and very disappointing. Only a few seasoned tofu chunks and the rest all kinds of sautéed veggies on the plate. Instead of BBQ sauce, got salsa. Flagged server for BBQ sauce, he came back with hot sauce. Finally got the BBQ sauce. Very bland, even with the BBQ sauce. Waited around for coffee refills. Felt invisible to the servers who were more attentive to the parties of more than one.

1 star for food, -1,000 stars for service

Pros: Open on July 4, The few vegan items were labeled on menu
