Serves meat, vegan options available. Light, salad-type fare with many veggie choices. Menu offers assistance with vegan and gluten-free diners. Previously located at 1133 Mac Arthur Dr. Reported closed May 2023.
Nice, clean and bright place with jazz vibe. Serves a very good vegan burger and a veggie plate(choose 3) of ovrm roasted with olive oil salt and lots of pepper. Salads also served.
Also serve beer, wine and spirits. Have an afternoon happy hour. Would eat here again if traveling thru.
Great place to stop if you’re driving through. Love the vibe. Owners were probably at another Widespread Panic concert so we didn’t get to meet em. Give this place a shot you won’t be disappointed!
Locally sourced ingredients. Everything made fresh to order. Local craft beer from Alexandria, LA. Sodas are all natural, no HFCS or artificial flavors. Vegans have plenty of options. Veggie burger, salads, veggie soup, grilled veggie plate, roasted eggplant sandwich (hold the cheese/pesto), and app options like pita veggie hummus bowl and spicy cauliflower bites.
Husband and I stopped by and snacked on the hummus bowl and cauliflower bites. Perfect portion for the two of us. Got our fiber fix then hit the road again!
Definitely worth stopping by. The sweet potato black bean burger is great. Tons of veggie sides. Recommend squash and zucchini. Be sure to go to the new location they moved to on Versailles Blvd.
First off, they have moved. They are at 94 Versailles which is about 3 miles from the listed address. Good possibility for a healthy vegan dish but there was no allergen menu. I have Alpha Gal allergy and have to avoid all mammal. There were several dishes I would want to try but they didn’t instill any confidence in allergy concerns and I didn’t care to risk it. The food looked great and I had a nice salad with a honey balsamic dressing.
The people working here went way above and beyond! My husband loved the beer he had and the gal brought him the website for it and even showed us the website on her phone! And the gal who helped us with our order was beyond friendly and nice! My husband even went back to give a bigger tip after everyone was so helpful and nice! Wish we weren’t just traveling thru. Will definitely make it back here when traveling thru here again!
Since becoming vegan I've started looking for vegan friendly restaurants in my area, which are very few and far between, but this is an excellent choice.
My husband took me here for my birthday and I had a wonderful vegan wrap with a fruit cup. We also had an appetizer of Hummus paired with Carrots, Cucumbers, and Pita Chips.
This place had heathy options for vegans and meat eaters. Good variety and wonderful flavors. My husband enjoyed the veggie wrap. He said it had just the right amount of pesto. I fell in love with their chicken salad and grilled vegetables.
The only drawback for us is that we were only passing through town. I hope they enjoy much success. There are far too few healthy options for eating out and like most families, we rarely find time to cook.
