Amazing little find - Edit
Vegan menu clearly marked; fresh pressed juice available as well. All of it was amazing! I got the vegan falafel and the "Beets Me" juice. I can't wait to come back. It was delicious and I love their store. It's better than Whole Foods Market!!
Read morePros: Beets me juice was fantastic , Vegan falafel was mouthwatering

Love This Place - Numberous Vegan Options! - Edit
I love Good Foods and am an owner. Their vegan breakfast, which usually consists of sausage, gravy, biscuits, potatoes, and kale is so so good. They change their menu up all during the week so you can always check their website for what options they have. I highly recommend their rueben which you can always order from the bar. They clearly mark all vegan options and the staff can take you to the products in the store that they serve on the bar so you can make the food yourself.

Awesome store! - Edit
This coop has great prices on produce and bulk foods. It has a cafe attached, which has a wide variety of drink options, as well as baked goods and a hot/cold bar. I'm excited to be moving to Lexington for this alone!

Great Vegan Options in Lexington, KY - Edit
This place is a gem in Lexington. It has a nice little café attached to the health food store. In the café, they have a hot bar, cold bar, and sandwiches made to order.

The best in town! - Edit
This is one of the few places to get decent vegan food! The grocery is great to buy local produce and other items i need to concoct my own vegan dishes, and the cafe is great too. The hot bar is always something fresh and new. They always have multiple vegan items and a complete salad and cold bar too. Love It!!!!

Sad that the cupcakes got smaller - Edit
I used to love coming here to get the massive cupcakes. They made me happy. While I still love the cupcakes that they have, the cupcakes have gotten much smaller. The food is still delicious and the choices in the grocery are awesome. I just wish they still had the bigger sized cupcakes.

Vegan oasis - Edit
This is a wonderful vegan oasis in the middle of Kentucky. The grocery section contains all of the familiar vegan options that you rely upon. The cafe is a good spot for a nice meal, containing a salad bar and an assortment of hot plate options that are clearly marked with ingredient lists. The vegan veggie stew was fabulous! They also have a nice selection of vegan desserts to soothe that sweet tooth. The vegan brownie is big enough to share, if you are so inclined. ;) The inside seating is limited to a few tables, but there is more seating outside when the weather is nice. Don't forget to utilize their newly remodeled eco-friendly bathrooms before you leave!

AMAZING PREPARED FOODS!! - Edit
This place was so great! I was visiting Lexington and never would've expected their grocery store to be better than the one by my home in Brooklyn! They had a ton of vegan options and also clearly stated all food allergies with the ingredients list. My friend is gluten free and she had a ton of options too! LOVE this place! Friendly staff too!

Fresh & Fun - Edit
While traveling through the area, I wanted to take the opportunity to swing by this place after having read about it online. This was much easier said than done. The directions I had (which were obtained from another website) were rather vague and also completely off kilter. After stopping for directions I made it to the market & was delightfully surprised at what I found. The deli was humming with business & had a variety of menu items but a limited grab & go section. Sporting a salad bar, olive bar, & wide variety of freshly baked as well as international/unusual breads, this market would be an ideal spot to shop for an impromptu picnic. The health & body section was small but well stocked with a small selection of varied items. The holistic health/books section seemed limited mainly to gift-type books. Throughout the store locally made/crafted products can be found & add to the community vibe of this market. Produce section was small but vibrant & plentiful. A great coffee selection is to be found here with far-trade & equal opp. products abounding. Store also hosts an impressive selection of vegan candy & goodies & vegan baked items in the deli.
Read moreThe staff here is cheery & eager to help, after requesting a product they no longer carried (vegan marshmallows), they offered to order it for me.
Pros: Vegan sweets, friendly staff, welcoming vibes
Cons: limited book selection, limited feminine care

Best 'home cookin' in town - Edit
I recommend the Sunday brunch, we love the vegan biscuits and gravy(sometimes you have to ask for it because they keep it in back and not on hot bar). Have vegan food labled on hot and cold bars and items change daily (love the vegan 7 layer salad), also you can order smoothies and sandwiches from counter. Great vegan wraps and the TLT is the best (tempeh, lettuce, tomato)
Read morePros: food options change, great food, serve yourself
Cons: price, meat is served on bars, busy
