Decent vegan option - Edit
Got a pretty good vegan option. I don’t know if the menu changed because I saw other people say the vegan dog tasted like a black bean burger and that’s not longer the case. Cute place with a fun atmosphere.

Veggie dog is to die for! - Edit
The veggie dog here is so good and doesn’t taste fake that I thought they had mixed my order up and gave me meat. It’s made with whole ingredients instead of chemicals that you often find in veggie dogs at the grocery store. My favorite order is the veggie dog with french fries on top, covered in their signature seasoning mix. This is one of my go-to spots for a good vegan meal in Chatt!

Good Vegan Sausage - Edit
It was great to find a little hot dog place that offered a vegan sausage! They were even kind enough to let me take a look at the ingredients for the buns to make sure that I could eat them! It was delicious (albeit spicy) food, and it was a cute restaurant with really funky decor super close to the park. Recommended.

My husband and I visited Good Dog kind of accidentally because we were in the area and it was lunch time. They have a homemade vegan black bean sausage as well as veggie dogs. You can add your own toppings from a list to your dog. I had a veggie dog with sauerkraut and stadium mustard. Their french fries are excellent, but the servings are a bit small in my opinion. They come in a paper cone too! They have Vegenaise too! The location is excellent. You can take your dogs and enjoy time in Coolidge Park.

I liked the vegan black bean sausage I had. It was fresh and flavored well and it's made in house. I liked the curry ketchup a lot. Appreciated that the dog was soy free, though the veganaise isn't. The grilled veggies on top of the dog were a little too oily for my taste. Overall a good experience. Love the atmosphere.

Unfortunately Cashew was closed in Chattanooga and the Omni-Guys II was with were hungry, so we landed in Good Dog, who also have a black bean vegetarian/vegan option. They don't have vegan buns (are with eggs), but the thoughtful waitress asked me if I want to have a lettuce wrap/bun instead and I was okay with that (also less calories :-) ) The vegan dog was good (it comes with vegenaise and some toppings) - they also cook it on a separate plate. Nevertheless I paid for my bunless blackbean sausage with lettuce and toppings with tax around 10.50 $ which is too pricey for what I got in my view. Next time I would go rather to Pura Vida, Cashew or Sluggo's again. But the Truly Vegan Dog is worth a try if you are with others who want to go there.
