Undercooked beans - Edit
Both the chickpea and the black bean burgers were tasty, but quite undercooked. The beans are still hard and it doesn’t seem like they understand how long to cook beans for. We were told they’re cooked 3 times- boiled, mashed and then on the grill, but boiled for how long? Well, the service was nice and the fries were great! Of course undercooked legumes are quite poisonous. We sent our food back and left hungry, but didn’t have to pay.

Woah. Not surprised. They kill animals as a business, what's a customer or two??

I was quite taken back that they were surprised, like no other customers mentioned that before. I understand that learning to cook vegan food can be a process, but while cooking for oneself has more leeway, selling that food for profit should be a finished and I dare say even mastered dish. Hope they will make the improvements. Plant based can be simple and delicious. It’s not as hard as some may think.

They also seem to have confused the word "good" with "evil" so it sounds like they've hit a learning curve when it comes to caring. Food safety is the third most important reason I boycott murder kitchens, after animal safety and economic environmental protest, but it's still a huge factor. Maybe they'll read this and do some growing up. Hope so.

Great Service - Edit
The Burger were undercooked, so we had to send them back as it wasn't that healthy to eat undercooked beans. They were really nice about it and took the burgers back. The burgers look gorgeous and the fries were really good.

Could be better - Edit
The vegan burger are pretty average. I chose the chickpea burger and I didn't really like the patty. Also it tastes pretty dry.

Just OK - Edit
It's now called Good Burger. There are two burgers that they claim to be vegan which are the chickpea and the black bean burger. They weren't labelled vegan but the staff seemed very sure when I asked them. I'm a little suspicious about the bun though as it seemed to be one of those regular ones that you get in Makro or Big C. They said they're vegan though, so took their word for it.
Read moreThe burger was pretty average but I did particularly the fat chips that are more like wedges since they are unusual to find. Could have done with a few more of them though. ;)
Pros: Fat chips (wedges), Good location right on the night market, Friendly staff
Cons: Not all vegan, Nothing labelled vegan
