Small Vegan Menu

Small vegan menu available upon asking (wasn’t advertised or mentioned on their standard menu). Had three options overall. I had the potato and bean burrito and tableside guacamole which was pretty good.

Lacking flavors of México

I appreciate when a restaurant has a separate vegan menu however I had higher expectations with a restaurant on the vegas strip.

I found the Sweet Potato & Roasted Poblano Tacos to be lacking any of the rich flavors I find in vegan street tacos in México. To start, they used Red Potatoes instead of Sweet Potatoes, the salsa had a great kick to it but I found it to be salty and the tortillas tasted microwaved.

The tacos did their job in nourishment but failed in being an enjoyable experience for me.

Pros: Guacamole

Great option in New York New York!

This is my (vegan) partner’s favourite restaurant in Vegas. It’s located inside the New York New York hotel, and although I’m not a Vegas expert by any means, it appeared to be the only solid vegan option in both New York New York and MGM that we found (other than Subway, of course). They have a separate vegan menu and a decent vegan burrito. My boyfriend wanted a chimichanga and although it wasn’t on the vegan menu, the kitchen had no problem deep frying the potato and black bean burrito for him. We also got a variety of salsas and the table-side guacamole as well as a couple refills on the corn chips. No complaints about the margaritas either. Definitely a solid choice if you are vegan and are looking for food on the Vegas strip.

Vegan Burrito

Decent burrito for your buck! However it was mostly filled with potato’s and 1/8 black beans. Guacamole and salsa on the side. Not bad.

Pros: Inside New York New York Hotel

Cons: Not many options

Not Exactly What I ordered

They do have a separate vegan menu with 3 items on it. I ordered the portobello vegetable salad and the waiter came back and told me they were out of it. I then ordered the sweet potato and poblano pepper tacos. They were delicious, but contained no sweet potatoes. They used red skin potatoes. They were delicious, but not what I ordered. The Merlot was good.

Pros: At least had a vegan menu. Wine was good.

Cons: Didn't have the items listed on the vegan menu.

Not many options

There is a separate vegan menu with only 3 options, one of which was completely unavailable when I visited. The 2nd option was sweet potato tacos but they were out of sweet potatoes but they offered to replace it with regular potato. I decided to go with their 3rd option which was a potato and black bean burrito. It was okay but nothing exciting. It was a good size burrito and filling. It does the trick if you have no other options.

Cons: Not many vegan options

Vegan Mexican

This place only has three vegan options but all are very good! The best is the sweet potato & poblano tacos! The guacamole made at your table was very good as well! What made it all worth it was the terrific service! Worth the trip!

Pros: Terrific service

Cons: Only 3 vegan options

Separate vegan menu

They have a separate vegan menu with three options. All sounded great but I got the sweet potato and poblano tacos (delish!) with a side of pinto beans (make sure to ask for no cheese). If you’re looking for filling vegan food this is the place!
