Surprisingly large vegetarian selection

The main menu contains several vegetarian items. When I asked the waitress about these, she brought me a separate vegan menu listing even more choices. And she pointed out that there is a vegan sample platter not listed in either of the menus. The sample platter is pricey (4800 yen plus tax), but gives you a great overview of the things that are possible with vegan sushi. I had this platter, some avocado rolls (found on the vegan menu only) and vegetable tempura. All the dishes were freshly prepared, and it was a joy watching the chef work. I liked the unusual things I had never tried before (for example "land caviar," actually a seed) and of all the sushi, liked the plain avocado rolls them most. The tempura was also good, crunchy but cooked through. This is not a cheap place, but the quality of the food and the service make up for it. Note that their standard soy sauce is not vegetarian. The waitress had forgotten to swap mine until the chef reminded her to.

Cosy and genuine sushi restaurant

This place is quite large, it exists private rooms, stalls for larger company and sit places at a desk in front of the sushi chefs and we had the experience to sit in front of the chefs and see them male the sushi. They had very good English and was very friendly. I've tried two of their 6 pieces vegetable sushis and they were very tasty.
It was one of the better sushis that I have had and they were really friendly.
