Great Place for the quick grab - Edit
We eat here twice. Once after almost all premade food was gone we ordered some soup and rice dish and it was very delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The second time we take out from the buffet. It was a bit late and we eat the food after it was cold. I wasn't that good any more. But this is still a great place to have some food (for on the way).
Pros: Near the train station, Nice staff, Great to order food
Cons: If you come late, the buffet is gone.

Friendly staff, good range of tasty food - Edit
We visited for dinner and breakfast during our stay in Chiayi. The staff were happy to help and one younger lady spoke great English. If you want food to be hot go early. (They open at 630am!) It was quiet when we went and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Pros: Good range of dishes, Tasty, Friendly and some English
Cons: Food can be cold in slow periods

Only one vegan place - Edit
Without taxi, it's the only one place you can reach by foot from the central train station. Nice staff, good and cheap food. Open every day, all the day !
