Nourishing & Peaceful meal - Edit
This restaurant was a little hard to find, but keep looking. Very conscious and friendly manager. Lunch was well balanced and 100% organic. They offer one set menu a day. Ample portions. Didn’t try dessert.

Tudo o que comi no Gomásio me surpreendeu positivamente. Não sou vegetariana, e tenho alguma dificuldade em comer bem, assim como a apreciar a comida de qualidade. Todos os pratos que o chef serviu estavam ótimos, bem confeccionados e com um sabor fantástico. Não me canso da comida do Gomásio. Recomendo muito.

Fomos ao almoço. Comemos o menu do dia constituído por chá, sopa e prato. Nem sei se havia outras opções. Apresentaram-nos uma sopa de miso e um prato com puré de feijão, tofu, cogumelos, arroz integral e salada, tudo muito saboroso e bem servido. O serviço foi rápido e o preço justo, num ambiente muito calmo.

Após caminhar 40 minutos debaixo de sol, chegamos ao restaurante, sentamos e depois de 5 minutos nos avisaram que, apesar de vazio, já estava todo reservado! Decepção!!! Não voltarei!!!

Finally found after a long search. This very friendly, purely vegan restaurant is a little hidden in Guimarães. A nice employee welcomes you in a friendly manner. There was a soup, a main course and a dessert with tea. I paid around 11 euros for the menu. Very fair!

Read moreThis is a good option for a light vegan meal in Guimarães. The place is on the smaller side, simple yet tastefully decorated (it feels very light, in a good way). Location isn't the best but it's not that far from the center of town either. Staff was friendly.
The food is good and so are the desserts. The quality-price ratio is okay.
Note: I've only had the chance to come to this restaurant once (2021), but I'd like to come back

Not a restaurant anymore. Only take away. Not transparant on fb. - Edit
We travelled 50km to eat there. At arrival the door was closed. The chef opened the door and told us very friendly that it was/became only take away. We double checked the fb after our little talk, But at the info on fb there is no info about take away. Only that its a nice place to sit and enjoy. so beware fellow happy cows.

What a wonderful place! So refreshing to see a vegan and macrobiotic restaurant in my birth town! Food is super delicious, healthy, and there’s a lot of variety. With soup, a main with several options, salads and a tasty tea, you will be full but not sick!

Estuve hace una semana en Guimarães de viaje, y conocí Gomásio de casualidad. Buscaba un sitio dónde poder comer sano, sin prisas, en un sitio acogedor y pregunté a gente local de la ciudad si me podían recomendar el sitio. Una mujer me habló de Gomásio y con la curiosidad que me despertó decidí ir. Fue todo un acierto, me encantó. El local, comida y su dueño TOTALMENTE RECOMENDABLE, si vas a Guimaraes no puedes volverte sin pasar a probarlo, además de precio está genial, barato para la calidad de la comida y lo bien que se come. Todo un acierto la recomendación de la mujer local que me habló de este sitio.
