Expensive, small portions - Edit
Small portions, expensive, staff seems to be utterly insensitive to vegans. E.g., served butter despite reminder, salad was made vegan by leaving off cheese, no alternative, but full price.

Thé place to eat vegan in Kuldiga - Edit
This Italian restaurant has several vegan dishes: humus with vegetables as appetizers (unfortunately they were out of those when we were there). And several soups and meals that are vegan or can be veganized: green pea soup, gazpacho, pasta with mushrooms and veggie pizza. We tried the two soups which were really tasty. We also tried the pizza, which was ok, not special. The restaurant had a nice terrace on the main square of the city and the staff is very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about veganism.

The only place for vegans in Kuldiga - Edit
Kuldiga is a really lovely town but unfortunately the only place to get some vegan food is this. We had buckwheat and pumpkin pasta. Both were nice, but quite expencive and small portions. Service was quick and polite.

Helpful staff, new to vegan - Edit
The staff is very accommodating and helped us find the vegan meal we wanted. They have almond milk for coffee and breakfast and a few vegan options listed on the menu, pizzas can be vegan without cheese and they have sorbet.
