A full vegan meal choice: meatloaf with salad, turned out to be my favorite meal while in Japan. It reminded me how much I enjoyed meatloaf and encouraged me to try this meal at home. Strongly recommend.

The restaurant had a staff member who spoke very good English and was super friendly. The vegan menu is offered by default, no need to ask or have that awkward “is it vegan?” moment. I had the Herb Salad with Sesame Dressing and the Soybean Meat Keema Curry. Both were delicious. The curry avoided a lot of pitfalls with similar dishes and didn’t go too savory.

I was coming back from one of the okonomiyaki places near this one after being rejected for not having a reservation and I unexpectedly saw the vegan menu sign outside.
Read moreThe beers are very expensive imo (you can easily spend 1000yen or more for a small beer.
About the food, I was afraid the plate size would be very small for the price, considering I saw the sausage assortment plate and it was small. But I was pleasantly surprised to see it was a good portion and it also tasted pretty good!
