Cheap, Good Chinese Food - Edit
This is a classic hole-in-the-wall Chinese food joint. The owner is originally from Hong Kong and loves to chat about his home.
While this place serves all kinds of meat/animal products, they are perfectly happy to make your meal as you like it. They only use soybean oil for cooking (I verified this), and they use freshly-cleaned woks for each order (you can watch them cook).
There are three items on the menu that I like to get. First, I like vegetable fried rice. With this dish you have to request "no egg." Second, I like the fried Chinese vegetables. And third, I like the vegetable spring rolls.
Really, though, anything on the menu could be made with or without animal products. So just ask!
Pros: Fast, Cheap, Friendly
Cons: Little seating. Better for take-out.
