A tasteful experience! - Edit
Very nice vegetarian restaurant with helpful staff. Daily and cheap menu with 3 or 4 courses, and a huge amount of mexican (or now international) typical dishes, all "veganized" if desired: Soups, tamales, burgers, pizzas, tortas, salads, arracheras, and tacos, of course.
Went on sunday lunch time and was packed, which is always a good sign. The service was fast enough for the volume of work they had. Burgers were pretty decent, and tacos were delicious with distinct flavours between faux meats. Also had two cakes: tofu and chocolate. Nice, but too sweet for our taste.
Worth a visit (or two). I would recommend it without hesitation.
Pros: Inexpensive , Big variety

Simply amazing - Edit
This restaurant has a very extensive menu of all mexican food you've always wanted to try but it just wasn't vegetarian. They have vegan options for all that is only vegetarian, and it's tasty and inexpensive.
There isn't anything wrong with it, I LOVE it.
Pros: Delicious, Accessible, Vegan options
Cons: Sometimes a bit slow/crowded

veggie heaven in Mexico City - Edit
Found this after after a quick search on happy cow.
The food here is excellent. Everything you would get from a traditional Mexican cafe / bistro (plus some more)- but all suitable for vegetarians. The faux meat dishes are exceptional, especially the tacos for which you can choose 6 different types of faux meats.
English is limited, but you can get by ... Especially if you have some sort of translator in the phone (the free wifi here helps for apps such as google translator)
We ate on Sunday lunch time and the place was packed with locals and tourists.
Would recommend and definitely coming back if in Mexico City.

The first and the best! - Edit
This was the first veg*n place I visited in DF and one I'll go back and back again. The range is really good and it's rather soys meat based but as I am a fan of that and it's an opportunity to eat authentic Mexican food, then that's great.
The service is efficient but if you don't know a lot of Spanish have a few phrases ready just to check especially if you're vegan. The staff are very patient though and will help.
Also, if you're a woman here alone, there are no hassles whatsoever.
The health food shop is bloody brilliant! It's one of the few places here where you can find Tofutti, Daiya, tempeh and something like nutritional yeast.
Pros: reasonable prices, best health food shop in DF
Cons: pain to find if you're a tourist

Tacos and Vegan Products! - Edit
I love this place. Besides enjoying good tacos and a different menu every day, you can also find several products that are difficult to find in Mexico; agar agar, Tofutti products, all kinds of tofu and "meat", stevia, grains, even hair natural colorants. I just find it so convenient!
Pros: restaurant and store, location, size
Cons: no parking

Great choice - Edit
One of my favorite places when I come to Mexico City. They have a great variety of tacos, burgers, hot dogs and veggie equivalents to Mexican dishes. It's vegetarian but they have many vegan options. I also love the in-house store.

Great veggie food at great prices - Edit
This is probably my wife's favourite place to get tacos and tamales from in Mexico City. While I find their food to be very tasty, I still can't turn my back on Vege Taco.
The range of food here is a lot bigger though. They have a vegetarian version of almost any traditional Mexican food you can think of, a good amount of seating and even a cheaper set menu if you are just looking for some good food and not a particular dish.
Pros: Very good prices, Attentive staff

Tasty and Satisfying - Edit
I had the menu of the day. It came with four courses for 60 pesos. The food was pretty good. They use meat alternatives for many of the traditional mexican dishes. This is a great place for vegetarians and vegans. I would not recommend it for non vegetarians.

Awesome! - Edit
I went to Gold Taco many times while living in Mexico City and it's amazing. The tamales aren't super good, but all the tacos are delicious and vegan. If you're vegetarian, you can add cheese to your tacos.
Plus, they have a small health store where you can find veg wieners, veg chicharrón, tofu, soy milk and many other things.
Pros: cheap, many vegan options, nice atmosphere
Cons: service (it's a bit slow)

Amazing - Edit
Best place I've gone to in D.F. for vegetarian versions of basic Mexican dishes. Tamales, tacos, pozole, etc. are wonderful. Prices are super cheap and the staff is helpful. Highly recommended!
Probably of less interest to people who aren't into fake meat.
Pros: cheap, excellent food, great value
Cons: fast food, garish
