Lovely experience - Edit
I went to Goji in the second week of this year’s season. It was an amazing experience to say the least. Giannis and his team/family are all lovely hosts and really make time for every individual that visits their beautiful hotel. As a solo traveller, this was especially nice. My room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The breakfast consisted of a small bowl with a bit of muesli, goji berries and/or nuts, a few crackers/rye bread and a sweet or savoury pastry. The coffee was so so delicious, I crave it every day. The only thing missing for me was that, even though you got some (cold pressed?) orange juice, there was no fresh fruit included. Luckily there’s a small shop nearby that sells it, but it would’ve been nice to have instead of the muesli or something.
Read moreThey have a menu with drinks and 4 choices of small bites you can enjoy at the pool. There aren’t really any proper lunch options, so maybe that’s something to be added in the future. The pool is really nice though.
For dinner, we usually got a salad and pie to start, as mentioned in many other reviews. This pie changes every 2 days. It is good, but maybe add it to a lunch menu or as an optional item instead. As I said earlier, I was travelling alone. However, I got the same amount as every couple around me did. So a pie (every person got one each), but then a whole salad to myself. Some of them were very filling, especially in combination with the pie, so I felt bad about not being able to finish it all since they’re very focused on not wasting food. This was the same at breakfast.
The mains were all very delicious, but keep in mind that they are microwaved so they can serve it warm to all the guests. This makes the texture of the overall dish very monotonous, but an explosion of flavour nevertheless!! I bought the cookbook so I can recreate them at home, though the pie and potatoes going with the gemista are missing🥲
The dessert was always interesting and not very well-known (except for the halva of course), which I found very nice. It usually came with a complementary shot.
List of solo-traveler activities;
-Seven Spring Valley; if you love hiking you’ll have a great time here! The path is much more natural than the one in Butterfly Valley.
-Rhodes Old Town tour by World City Trail is GREAT for solo travellers.
-Throne of Helios; a cinema with 9D experience. Not crowded at all and very nice staff.
Rhodes is definitely more focussed on groups, so I’ll bring my family next year❤️

We will come back - Edit
We stayed 8 days in this beautiful Hotel. The Rooms are clean and comfortable. Soap and Shampoo in the Bathroom were vegan, too. We enjoyed the Dinner every evening. It tasted good, fresh and homemade but also a little bit similar. It was always a 3 Course Meal.

At lunchtime there was a very tasty selection of large and small snacks by the Pool. The Price was reasonable.
Really every person who works in this Hotel was so friendly and approaching. We really enjoyed our Time!
They responded individually to my allergy and even made me extra food if necessary.

Read moreThe room (with balcony) was clean and had a small kitchen spot plus fridge which comes in super handy. The pool is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The place itself is a bit away from the busy part of the beach strip which makes it calm and pleasant to return to after being out and about. Last but not least, dinner portions leave you very full and satisfied! We will definitely be back.
All of that being said, Goji is fairly new, and there’s still some room for improvement (another review on here already pointed out the kitchen situation), but overall the place is fantastic and staff is totally committed! Personally, I’d love to find an official donation option at Goji for the kitties and street cats of Rhodes - I’m sure, many guests would love to contribute!

Great vibe and ethos. Hotel felt well thought out and considerately curated without being pretentious 🩵 whole family was super kind and welcoming including their gorgeous dog Sakis. If you’re an animal lover this is the place for you; the hotel is surrounded by cute kittens and wildlife. Food felt authentic and it was so nice to be able to eat that way as a vegan, heads up - the meal is a set menu each night. Would love to have a Goji in each place I visit around the world!

Lovely owners but food needs improvement - Edit
We stayed here in September. We love the ethos and the vision of Yannis the owner - he was so friendly and committed to providing a vegan environment with as little waste as possible. The pool and loungers were a sanctuary and relaxation in these surroundings was easy.
Read moreWe found the food was fairly similar each day and we wanted to give honest feedback. At home and on holiday we don’t eat the same style of food every day, so after a few days we weren’t really looking forward to the meals, simply because there was no choice or real variety in flavour.
The dinner highlights were the vegan feta salad (amazing 😍) and the stuffed peppers and tomatoes were excellent as well. The coconut dessert was also delicious.
We didn’t enjoy the pie (served with the salad at each dinner) and the basic format of pie & salad then a baked or stew style main each day was quite repetitive.
The breakfast was also the same each day with small changes eg melon for another fruit, and different fruit in the yogurt bowl.
We totally understand the lack of cooking facilities on site but would love to see this hotel succeed as the owner is so committed to it and is genuinely lovely.
A few tweaks to give guests a couple of choices eg. vegan pastries at breakfast, different bread every couple of days, cereal with milk instead of the yogurt & fruit bowl would be a start. If guests gave the breakfast request the day before there would be no food waste as these things have a decent shelf life.
Dinner will be more difficult to improve on quickly as the food is cooked offsite but a small start might be by making 2 main dishes (in total make the required number of potions) and serving them on a first come first served basis therefore eliminating food waste.
Pros: Yannis was lovely and very helpful , The pool was perfect , Yoga classes 3 times a week
Cons: No choice of food, Poor vegan options outwith the hotel

The Greek hospitality at its best! The owners are amazing people, the place is cozy and the food, home made and prepared with fresh local food, is delicious. The aim of the Hotel is zero waiste when it comes about food and water and resources. Yoga classes available twice per week!

Read moreWir haben das Frühstück dazu gebucht, leider war es nicht besonders abwechslungsreich. Ich hätte mir z.B. mehr Beläge gewünscht, es gab meistens nur veganen Scheibenkäse oder Marmelade.
Abendessen (20€ pro Person plus Getränk) war jedes Mal sehr lecker, es gab eine Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und Nachtisch.

A Fabulous Vegan Hotel - Edit
We have had a fantastic holiday at the Goji Vegan Hotel. The home cooked food was delicious and beautifully presented. They also managed to serve me with gluten free substitutes when needed. All of the products used in the hotel are vegan- we were even given vegan sunscreen. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to go back!

Read moreThis did just that. Great accommodation run by friendly, helpful and attentive hosts. We stayed for 4 nights and ate in the hotel which is situated in a quiet but very accessible location just outside Rhodes Town. The food was great with lots of variety and local interesting items on the menu. The rooms were immaculate and the pool area excellent. It is close to shops, bars car hire and public transport so getting around and doing things is very easy. We would highly recommend and will definitely return. We need more of this type of establishment!

My husband and I just came back home from a week at Goji and we couldn't recommend it enough.
Read moreAll the staff was absolutely lovely and the food was excellent.
We had a gorgeous room with a kitchenette and a huge balcony. The room also has air-conditioning, which would come in handy in summer.
For breakfast they serve some type of bread with vegan cheeze and some type of spread (tahini, jam, ...) with a little veggies, as well as a coconut yoghurt bowl with muesli. They also bring you orange juice and tea or coffee.
Dinner is a three course affair with salad and pita as a starter, then a main and a small dessert with alcoholic aperitif.
It's located 10 minutes on foot from the beach and 5 minutes from the next bus stop.
We had a wonderful time at Goji!
