Great holidays - Edit
We stayed at Goji in summer 2025 (half-board) while exploring Rhodes. First of all the hotel is great and a dream as a vegan to not have to worry about anything. The staff is really nice, the food is great, the pool is nice and the regular rooms come with a balcony and a kitchenette.
Read moreThere are some things you should keep in mind when booking:
- The hotel has no kitchen. The food is prepared (fresh) in a different location and then delivered and warmed up every night.
- Breakfast and dinner vary daily but are served as a fixed meal, so if you don't like something you are out of luck. Not sure if you can get extra but on some days the meals were pretty small.
- There is no place to hang out after dinner. The reception and pool area cannot be entered before breakfast and after dinner.
- The room is cleaned every 3 or 4 nights.
These points didn't effect our stay by any means, but I think it's important to know about them beforehand because in many other hotels you get a different experience.
We even bought the cook book and want to cook some of the lovely dishes at home. If you are a picky eater maybe only book breakfast since you can always check the menu and request dinner the night before.
Overall we can definitely recommend Goji to anyone who wants to explore Rhodes and also likes to relax at the pool or near beach!

Vegan Paradise on the Island of the Sun - Edit
Location: Just a 10-min taxi drive from the airport at the north of the island, and a 10-min walk from the most beautiful, pebbly beach. Public transport in Rhodes is not the easiest and most reliable, but we still managed a trip to Rhodos Old Town by bus, and a day trip do Lindos by coach.
Read moreAtmosphere: The friendliest staff you'll ever meet! Everyone was so nice, including the people at reception /behind the bar, the cleaner, and a member of the family even stayed up super late to check us in after our flight was delayed. The hotel has a beautiful pool and sunbeds to chill and enjoy the sunshine. There are also lots of cute, stray Aegean cats strolling around.
Room: We stayed in their standard room. Very cute, very clean and fit for purpose (we spent most of our days outside). Beds were not the comfiest, but that may be a preference thing. I like a soft mattress and a firm pillow and we had the opposite. I also like a big comfy duvet to wrap myself into even in hot weather. Shower was really nice, and we also had a small balcony that we used to have nibbles in the sun. Very lovely.
Food: Not having to worry about finding vegan food on our holiday was the original plan, but I did not expect the food to be sooo good! Breakfast was amazing, with bread, spreads fruit, veg and overnight oats. Dinner was just as fantastic with 3-course meals, where we were served local dishes freshly cooked every night. We also paid for loaded nachos and vine leaves during our stay. The food is where this hotel really excels. That and the staff.
Would we come back again? 100%. We are already looking at booking our next stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at GOJI this week. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the food was great, the rooms were totally alright for the amount of money you pay here and also in our opinion there is just so much you need in a hotel room and everything we needed was there. The pool was great, the black and white cat became my friend and we will for sure be back when we want to escape to a warmer country again!

Wonderful Holiday at Goji - Edit
From the lovely warm welcome onwards, we had a really lovely time at Goji. The staff are so wonderful. We were fed so well for breakfast and evening meal. It's handy for buses to Town and The Airport. We had a lovely holiday here. And reasonable rates too.

My favourite hotel - Edit
We LOVED this hotel! We stayed for a week last year, and loved it so much that we stayed in their new sister hotel, Acai, this year but still came over to Goji for a day. We think we’ll come back next year and split time between Goji and Acai :)

Room is spacious and kept spotless by the lovely cleaner, it has a kitchenette so you can cook your own meals if you wish, beautiful food (I still think about the bougatsa and the nachos every day), and the BEST staff. Alex, Aris and Giannis are just amazing.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so relaxed by a pool as I have at Goji. There is never a battle for a sun bed, and everyone is so respectful of other guests.
Location is great too! Easy to get to the beach and into Rodos town.
We’d recommend Goji to anyone and everyone, and can’t wait to come back.

Read moreBooking very easy. I had questions beforehand, which were always answered very quickly and clearly. They booked my taxi to/from airport for me. Room was ready a bit early which was appreciated, and I was able to store luggage on my last day.
Room was lovely. I had the garden suite. I don't normally sleep very well in hotels, but I slept soooo well here. It's so quiet and peaceful. Not being woken up by doors slamming and people talking like in other hotels. I chose this place as I wanted peace and quiet, and that's exactly what I got.
Food was amazing. Again, i wasn't sure what to expect, but every day was varied, interesting. I had moussaka in a few places in Greece but they were underwhelming. The Goji moussaka was the best i've ever had. All the meals were wonderful.
Friendly staff, happy to help. Beach was maybe 5-10 minutes walk away. There's an ice cream shop about 5 minutes away that makes vegan ice cream in front of you, with vegan toppings. One of the supermarkets a few minutes walk away has vegan magnums. Room had a kitchenette so I bought my own tea and soya milk and could store water and ice cream in the fridge/freezer.
I did some excursions using Getyourguide, and recommend them. They picked me up from the hotel, or from a few minutes walk away.
Felt very safe walking around the area, even on my own at night.
I went to Acai (their sister hotel) for lunch one day. Their menu is a lot better, more choice, (no choice at Goji, you are served whatever), but I didn't see enough of the hotel to comment. I would probably stay there as well though.
I didn't want to come home. I would very happily come here again and highly recommend. Thank you Goji.

Great vegan hotel option in Greece - Edit
We stayed at Goji for a week whilst exploring Rhodes with day trips. Goji has excellent transport links to the airport and also to Rhodes town by public transport or taxi. It's less than five minutes walk away from the main street in Ialyssos and less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. The staff are lovely and are always eager to help. There are no staff onsite at night but if you let them know in advance, they can facilitate a late arrival from the airport. The room is comfortable, has AC, and also a fridge and mini kitchen to make your own lunches if you desire. We opted for half board (breakfast and dinner included), which took a lot of the stress out of finding vegan food in Greece! Highlights were bougatsa (custard tart with filopastry), stuffed peppers, greek 'submarine' dessert and dried hibiscus flower. One day we needed to leave before breakfast began, and they kindly made us some sandwiches the night before to take with us.
Read moreBetween us booking Goji and coming on the holiday, they've opened a sister hotel called Acai in the centre of Rhodes. We popped there for lunch one day, and the food was excellent with more choice (it is a separate restaurant in the building with a bigger kitchen, unlike Goji). If you take dinner at Goji, there's just the one meal choice.
Goji has a very nice outdoor pool. However, take note that there are 10 sun loungers total and 11 rooms (so potentially 20 guests - although we only had to wait once for sun loungers during our week there. When you're at the pool there are four dishes that you can ask for if you want a light lunch (e.g. Greek salad with vegan feta, nachos). There's also a good selection of drinks (local beers and wines, cocktails and mocktails, kombucha).
If I were to do the holiday again, I would split my week stay by spending half the week in Acai to explore Rhodes town whilst benefiting from the wider food variety at the restaurant, and then spend the second half of the week at Goji for more of a poolside holiday. You can still book all the day trips you want from the excursion companies on the Ialysos high street. I'd certainly recommend Goji to any vegan travellers looking for a Greek holiday!

The easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given - Edit
5 stars isn’t enough! I cannot recommend Goji highly enough - we had such an incredible week there! A few key things:
Read more- The room was spacious, comfortable, equipped with a small kitchenette and had a nice sized balcony.
- The food was truly incredible. We enjoyed every single meal and were excited to try things we wouldn’t normally have. We got the cookbook the hotel produced and will definitely be making some of these in the future!
- The location was great. A short walk takes you to supermarkets, shops and restaurants, as well as the beach. Bus services can take you into Rodos although note that they can get very busy so allow plenty of time to get to your destination! We also organised a coach trip to Lindos for €20 which picked us up very near the hotel!
- The real highlight for me was the staff. They are such an asset to the hotel! Giannis, who runs the hotel was extremely welcoming and always available to answer questions! Alexandra, who worked the afternoon/dinner shift was so friendly and we really enjoyed getting to know her over the week! She also makes an amazing aperol spritz!! Aris, who worked the morning shifts was equally friendly and helpful. Mr Nikos worked on admin in the background and kept everything running smoothly. Mary kept our room clean and tidy each day and ensured our toiletries were topped up when needed. Last but not least, the furry friends of Goji… Sakis, the beautiful cockapoo was often around and was always excited to get cuddles. There were a number of stray cats around the hotel (and far more across the island), some of whom were very friendly and enjoyed having a stroke or two.
In short, we had an incredible week at Goji Hotel and are already planning a return trip.
Book - you won’t regret it!!
I visited for the second time this year and everything was equally as incredible, if not better. I’m already planning my third trip next year!

Everything we ate was delicious, all beautiful home-cooked Greek food - my favourites were the gigantes, the pies and of course the pastitsio, but it was hard to choose as everything was so good. All the staff were amazing, and shout-out to Sakis for being very cute.

Just to echo all the other reviews: we are just back from a fab week at the Goji Hotel. Nice rooms, lovely pool area, and great home-cooked Greek vegan food. The extended family who run the place are really kind, helpful and welcoming, as are the resident animals, especially Sakis the dog, who loves everybody!

Just what I needed - Edit
It was so nice to start the day with a vegan breakfast brought to me every morning before a few hours lying by the pool, then some cocktails. The room had everything we needed with a kitchenette to store and heat food for lunches, then we ate out in the evenings to try the local vegan friendly restaurants.

It's quite a quiet area generally (a bit of a barky dog next door at times) and never had an issue getting a sunbed.
The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.

Nice hotel, but a bit pricey - Edit
To be honest, we were a little underwhelmed by the room in the first place. But the room has everything you need although it's a bit old fashioned which is probably also part of the sustainable concept. The bed was really hard though but everyone has their own feelings about that.

The personnel were also super kind and accommodating!
The only negative thing is the price. We paid 200€ per night incl. breakfast but without dinner which is kinda pricey. But I think this is due to our late booking as it's usually around 130€ per night which is okay.

Goji is a very gorgeous Hotel. We loved the atmosphere and the Team is very welcoming. Also the Location is great. You can rent a scooter and drive to Rhodes Old Town in about 20 minutes. And the view of the coast is amazing.
Read moreThe only thing we didn't enjoy was the food. The good part about the food was, that it was plain, natural, you got full and it was homemade (not sure about the desserts though). But it was quite tasteless and rather mushy. I guess its really the skill of cooking, rather than the cuisine itself. When I worked in a vegan restaurant with a greek guy and whenever he made something authentic from home, it was really great. But you really get full and its natural. And if you are not much of a foodie, its all good.
Also the restaurants around serve really nice vegan dished and especially anniesveganfoodbar is a place to go to.

The hotel is small and it's easy to get to know everyone. The people at the hotel are very nice and helpful with everything. They also have some adorable cats and the cutest dog, who is very well behaved.
Read moreThe only thing we didn't enjoy so much was the food. Breakfast and dinner are served so you have nothing to choose from. There was always just one small piece of fruit for breakfast and the dinner was cooked somewhere else and then heated in the microwave, which is not a great choice for potatoes. Most of the meals were also almost protein free but always very oily, so it was neither especially tasty nor healthy. I really hope the food will be improved, everything else was great!

We make sure to be clear in our website and booking channels that our breakfast and dinner are set menus and served at the table. As far as “unhealthy food” is concerned, not sure what you mean but all our dishes are home cooked, made of wholesome food and some of these dishes are full of plant based protein like giant beans, lentils or fava😊 last but not least, yes Mediterranean diet and more specifically Greek traditional cuisine is based on fresh olive oil which we love to use provided by local olive trees 🇬🇷

We stayed at the hotel for a week in July. We recommend this place! It felt so luxurious!
Read moreLuxurious in the sense that all the staff is incredibly friendly and you don't have to worry about the food.
The breakfast and dinner are delicious, varied, large portions and healthy.
The family is taking care for a number of cats and they have a very sweet dog!
The deluxe studio was spacious, clean and had a large balcony.
The swimming pool and lounge area were also very nice.
The location is perfect. The hotel is in a quiet area, but close to the main road, tour operators, shops, beach, busstops and supermarkets.
We had a fantastic time and it really felt like a holiday.
We will definitely come back!

A beautiful stay in the Goji Vegan Hotel - Edit
Me and my partner visited Goji in July. We had a wonderful stay! Giannis and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We loved our spacious room and kitchen and the pool area was brilliant - very clean and not too busy either. I can't express how great it is not to have to check everytime if something is vegan or not! It really does make a big difference and puts your mind at ease.
Read moreWe had breakfast/dinner at Goji - overall the food was excellent! Breakfast is usually overnight oats/yoghurt with fruit, and then some bread with dips/pastries/fruit. Dinner follows a similar format with pie, salad, a warm main and then a small desert. Photos are a selection of some of what we had during our stay. It was nice to have healthy and authentic greek food rather than a 'beige buffet' what you can sometimes find at hotels. We went out for dinner a couple of times over a week as it was a fairly similar format and it was nice to try some places outside the hotel (I would recommend Ono and the Alkionis Sports Bar + Ice Rolls - all of which are nearby). My partner is gluten-free which was really well accommodated - we usually ate the same although sometimes something specific was prepared (the majority of which was brilliant minus one or two exceptions!).
Favourite meals included stuffed peppers, pastitsio and mousaka. Breakfast favourite was the spinach pastry which was immense!
Overall a truly brilliant experience - huge thank you to Giannis and all the staff for such a lovely holiday. If you're reading this and thinking about booking - do it! It's so rare to find a fully vegan hotel and you are really looked after at Goji.

Lovely Small Family Fully Vegan Hotel - Edit
Had an amazing week here, staff were so lovely, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious. Breakfast was amazing, a lovely mix of things were served and slightly different each day which was nice. Had a few 3 course evening meals here too, you need to book in advance for this. Really good location too, super close to the main road with restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, a small supermarket and the beach (about a 10 min walk) but set back a few streets so it’s nice and quiet. Overall amazing experience, would visit again!

Small hotel with a very peaceful vibe - Edit
We were in Rhodes for 10 days and chose Goji because the dishes are all 100% vegan, which makes traveling so much easier for me. Breakfast was always similar, we always found it very tasty and filling. Dinner consisted of three courses and the portions were very large. Dinner dishes were Greek (just the vegan version), our favorite was the stuffed peppers and tomatoes. I would have liked some variety with the pastries in the starter and would have liked something like stuffed vine leaves, for example. We were very happy with our room, which was very large and even had a small kitchen. We were often visited by cats on the balcony, which was always a highlight. 😇

The hotel has 11 rooms and is family-run, making it very familiar and making you feel very welcome and looked after. The pool is wonderfully refreshing and towels are available to hire or buy. Rooms are simply furnished, our 'Deluxe Studio' was spacious and had a great, huge balcony. The hotel is quiet except for the guard dog and the roosters next door. Yoga is offered twice a week by prior appointment.
Read moreThe food in the morning and evening is served pre-portioned, so you can't choose anything. Dinner is freshly cooked offsite by the owner's 94-year-old (!) grandma, heated up in the hotel and served so quickly that the main course was sometimes brought before we finished the starter. It's nice to be able to try different Greek specialities throughout our week. There is pie as a starter every day, which unfortunately is no longer much fun after a few days if you are staying for a whole week or even longer. I would like to see more variety here.
The owner Giannis is one of the most service-orientated and nicest hoteliers I have ever met 🩵 Everone was friendly and helpful. The beach, restaurants and bars are within walking distance.

The perfect holiday 🫶🏼 - Edit
Went to Goji for a week for my partners birthday and had the best time! Giannis got us lovely cakes for my partners birthday (that was the same day as Giannis’!) which was so sweet! The whole team made us feel so welcome and comfortable too.
Read moreWas so fun to try new foods through the week and we especially loved the breakfast pastries. The food was delicious and loved the smoothies during the day having the option to add vegan protein powder.
The rooms were lovely and clean and had plenty of room and a kitchenette although we didn’t need it it was good to know we had the option. The hotel was also really close to bars/restaurants/taxi rank and the beach!

Read moreFrom arrival, the staff makes an effort to welcome you and make you feel like it's your home away from home.
The rooms have a good size and are perfectly clean, including a balcony in which you might get visits from the local rescue cats, and a kitchenette that comes in handy for the odd snack - if you manage to be hungry at all!
The half-board option is definitely worth it, with good time-frames for both breakfast and dinner, and changing menus every day, giving you a chance to try many different local dishes, in their vegan version. Breakfast includes some yogurt or muesli, a pastry, different breads and spreads or cheese, juice and tea or coffee. Dinner included a piece of pie, a starter salad, a traditional main dish, and creative sweets.
From there you can simply enjoy Ialyssos and the beach, hike up Filerimos, or go to Rodos and the rest of the island very easily, or just relax in the nice swimming pool area.
