The best B&B ever in the whole world - Edit
Linda and Graham went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable from our arrival to our departure with all little details that make you feel truly cared for.
Read moreThey have been amazing with our little 9 months old baby.
They even cooked his favourite meal!
We had the most delicious food in all our 3 months journey around UK and you can really feel professionalism and love in every aspect.
All the vegan meals are very researched and delicious, we wish to have stayed longer!
We highly suggest the B&B! Is a very special place

An oasis of comfort and great grub in remote Yorkshire - Edit
What's not to love? Graham and Linda provide comfortable, spacious rooms in a tiny hamlet awash with nature. Their breakfasts and evening meals are a thing of joy, and rival anything I might find in a city centre vegan restaurant. I couldn't fault this place.

Wonderful and peaceful - Edit
We had such a wonderful time and were sad to leave - 3 nights weren't enough! The food was some of the best we have had: huge breakfasts and, if you have the chance, the evening meals were better than you would get in a restaurant (especially the curry!). We particularly enjoyed all of the home made vegan cakes as well😄Linda and Graham are really kind and thoughtful and were great with our 7 year old. The room was spotless, really comfortble and had luxury vegan products. The area is simply stunning and peaceful - perfect for fell walking and nature spotting.

We went full on with breakfast, picnics and dinners on the available nights (basically ordered everything!!!)- all delicious, especially the curry, pasties and fruit cake. Linda and Graham are generous in so many ways and had lots of jokes to share. We were sent home with cake and some hooch to soften the blow of leaving. Will be back!

Fabulous vegan B&B - Edit
Fantastic from start to finish. Linda and Graham greeted us with delicious cakes and made us feel so welcome. They were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Read moreThe rooms were tastefully designed and very comfortable. The view from our window was stunning.
The food was incredible, everything was vegan, freshly made and delicious. They are now licensed to sell alcohol and have a good selection of wines and ales. Graham’s homemade hooch is amazing too.
We will definitely be returning.
June 2022, we’ve just been back for another week and everything is still exceptional. Look out for the review of our visit next year! 😀

We went for 5 days and it was amazing! The owners are the nicest people in the world and the food is just amazing. We had dinner there twice and Linda even prepared a delicious lunch for us one day. Best Vegan stay in the Yorkshire Dales - Edit
WOW, what can I say about our stay at Goats & Oats other than WOW
Read moreNot only was the journey there stunning but the location was too near to Waterfalls, Viaducts and expansive panoramas... the Welcome was warm and inviting on such a fresh winters day and the room was beautifully decorated. Upon arrival we were spoiled by freshly baked vegan rock cakes and we settled down with a cup of vegan cappuccino to enjoy them. After settling in we had a drive into a neighbouring town and had a nice walk, the B&B is short distance from lovely towns such as Hawes, Sedbergh & Kirkby Stephen and of course Cumbria & the Lakes too. On the evening we had a very delicious and hearty vegan Moroccan Soup & Guinness & Mushroom pie with vegetables and the quality was outstanding, the flavours were perfect. The following morning we had a fabulous breakfast, again the quality was exceptional and set us up for the day. We Geocached locally taking in the high ground for a full far reaching view and an aptly named Lady Ann walk,,, apt because our room was the Lady Ann Room. After a strenuous day walking we had a lovely shower in the newly fitted shower room and then had our evening meal which was Lentil soup followed by Thai curry, we could not fault it on flavour and freshness of ingredients. That evening we settled down to watch Strictly in the comfort of our room which had a huge smart TV with Netflix and Freeview plus free wifi. The following day we enjoyed another outstanding breakfast and then set about going to the nearby Red Squirrel Trail where we did indeed encounter several of them happy to feed from our hand and then bury their cache for later...
Overall an eleven out of ten..... Perfect not just for vegans but anyone wanting a comfortable stay in a great location with great food...
Pros: Food quality, Room quality, Location
Cons: Nothing

100% recommend whole heartedly a stay at Goats & Oats!
Read moreSadly our car was involved in a flooding incident and written off - so we were left stranded very far from home with soaking wet belongings, a written off car and feeling pretty sorry for ourselves.
Graham and Linda have been absolutely amazing and gone above and beyond - washing and drying our clothes, providing the most unbelievably amazing meals and snacks (including fresh out the oven warm scones with butter, cream and jam) - and making us feel so comfortable and at home. It's made a very stressful situation - calm and manageable!
The breakfasts are amazing - full cooked breakfast and pancakes are fantastic! and optional dinners too, which are filling and so tasty (we loved the sticky toffee pudding!)
The rooms are beautiful and have everything you could need including lovely towels, homemade rock buns and kettle - tea and coffee making facilities. TV has Netflix included and just an amazing friendly atmosphere.
Honestly, the most beautiful setting and views, gorgeous vegan food and drink and lovely hosts - This has to be a must to anyone's holiday wish list! It's a 10 out of 10! ❤️
Pros: Amazing friendly hosts, Beautiful food, Warm & friendly environment

Amazing 5* B&B - Edit
Staying at Goats and Oats was a 5* experience. Linda and Graham were welcoming and made us feel right at home in their beautiful B&B. The food was delicious, exactly what you need before and after a long day of hiking. I am gluten free and they went out of the way to make special meals. The accommodation was fab and the trails and scenery on their doorstep is like something out of a fairytale. We also had the treat of meeting other like-minded people, which was the cherry on top. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay wondeful host - Edit
Beautiful room, comfortable warm and cosy. Fabulous location - on the doorstep of great walks through the Dales. Delicious food - range of options for breakfast, and Linda is happy to do packed lunches for your hike. Linda could not have been more accommodating, making sure she did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. We had cakes, coffees, and were treated like VIPs throughout the stay! Would highly recommend for a hiking holiday.
